we're in Italy! calm down and relax... everything necessary will appear when it will appear, possibly at least a few hours before the action starts (but don't get mad if it's a few days after the Games are underway) pure Italian style -
So tomorrow, the girls will made a protest prior to the mass start for the not-inclusion of Women Nordic Combined into the Olympics I mean, yeah IOC and FIS have a point that the sport has so few medalled nations in the last decades, but in other hands they still keep in the olympics sports like Equestrian, diving or table tennis where even less nations medal for almost centuries now -

I was just doing my prediction on the other thread, and then I calculated... I had 21 Gold, 8 Silver, 15 Bronze. Probably a little too hopeful. Oops! (And I didn't even think I was being too optimistic as I was filling it out...guess so...) -
This should be included in the Olympics soon. Every single event that’s added to the program is a positive thing. -

I'm curious if the Italians have tested this anywhere? I don't know if our team already has the opportunity to train at the Milan oval, where this could be done. But generally for me, it's true that a suit like this can help a little, but definitely not if someone is completely out of shape- it certainly won't improve their 5-6 seconds in a 5 or 10 km race. If anything, skates could make that much of a difference if it were a truly revolutionary idea. -

Well, it has been tested at the Dutch Olympic trials, and nearly all surprising qualifiers wore this new suit, although it's not public knowledge what skaters did or didn't wear the new suit. -

These are the main points. The result had no bearings on the quota distribution and quotas are decided by their respective NOC. Additionally, Uhlaender is not looking to sanction any athletes or coaches. In the end the United States would always have 2 quotas and they can decide how they would like to use them, thus this is outside the scope of this appeal. Despite the expected loss here, Uhlaender did get a critical statement: 30. The Appeals Tribunal is satisfied that the action of the Canadians was intentional and directed to reducing the points available to athletes who slid at the final Lake Placid NAC. This can be used in an appeal to her federation. I know she's trying to avoid unseating Ro's spot, but honestly that's the only option she has if she wants to compete at the Olympics.
