China? Are you laughing? They won 0 medals at the recent World Championship

Did they participate though? :p

Honest question, results of para-events are often so annoying to find.

But yeah, unless China found a whole bunch of athletes with certain disabilities in a very short time, China getting to the top is not the likeliest of things.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Let’s wait for CAS to confirm they not going to overrule this before people can finally relax and get on with the games.

Any legal challenges will likely be heard in German courts, not CAS. IPC is based in Bonn, Germany, thus any legal matters related to the IPC tend to go through German courts (at least that’s the standard procedure, but these are non-standard times of course).

Not sure about that. They are other sporting bodies not based in Switzerland who CAS have dealt with. Also CAS heard Russia’s appeal in 2016 when they were banned.

I did see they said they’ll challenge in CAS. It’s strange because Huckaby and Fernandez had to challenge for their right to enter snowboarding competitions in German courts.
