It's great to see heywoodu is not the only Dutch person who follows biathlon passionately.

Do you know this guy, @heywoodu?

Nope, but this biatlon.nl thing is from when former World Cup athlete and current Eurosport commentator Herbert Cool hosted a trip to Biathlon auf Schalke last month :d

Not sure where else to put this, The Canadian Winter Games start in about a week.  Quite a few events, including the Biathlon competition will stream live here - https://canadagames.live/

19 and 20 Feb for the events, at least that is as best as I can make it out.

:RUS Ekaterina Glayzrina is back! She finished 10th in her first event in Russia Cup.

I read a TASS article last month she wants to be back on the national team next season.

I hope the other Russian girls step up so that she doesn't make it :p

Junior Boys Sprint is over Cisar won shooting clean.  Viukhin missed 4 targets and was only 23.1 seconds behind.  That is so really fast skiing.

The US had all 4 in the top 60, not bad, and Cervenka shot clean and finished 10th.  6 shot clean.

Tie for worst shooting goes to Josefsen of Greenland and Sytnyk of Ukraine, they both missed 8.

De Santana of Brazil only had one miss!  Mikoliunas from Lithuania shot clean.  Both lacked the ski speed, but congrats to them.

He has been shooting very well this season :d (by the way, he has been living in Austria since his early youth, surely that helps)

I am looking forward to seeing  how Chloe Levins from the US does over the next two weeks.  She is the next big thing for US women's biathlon.  No remember that it is all relative :)

So much for seeing how Levins did, she DNS.  Mishkin from :AUS with only 1 miss!  Greenland's finest was doing well, but after the 2nd shoot, where she only had 1 miss, she pulled a DNF.  I wonder what happened?

Congrats to Lundstroem who won with a clean shoot.  Only 5 shot clean with Smerciakova missing 8.
