They should hire Dolezal, feel like he should be available soon :p

He will be available soon :raspberry: I won't be surprised if Poland fires him even before they leave China. We're set for the worst ski jumping Olympics since Nagano :coffee:

Conratulations to Kobayashi for constant and good jumping! All other had one or more bad jumps. Every year german media make a lot of pressure to their jumpers and even they are good, they can handle it.

Yeah this start to be really a while now from that Hannawald 2002 triumph. I remember it perfectly because it is the same year we won our hockey world title and since then just like the Germans Vierschantzen titles... medias and general pressures and expectations resulting every year in ... Nada :p

Marius Lindvik wins his first event of the season. R. Kobayashi with a poor 2nd round but still 4th and gains points over Geiger.

Team competition tomorrow. Only 8 teams will probably enter since :SUI didn't bother to bring a fourth guy after Ammann left.

    • Keeping to the women's hammer theme - worlds silver medalist Jie Zhao has gone out to 78.22 in chengdu a new  and asian record.[tough Chinese women absolutely rule this throwing event in their continent holding the the top 14 all time places].
    • it was all expected, tbh fencing has now become a truly global sport if there's a sport that deserves to increase its olympic quota places (both in the team and individual events), that's fencing ioc can't ignore the elephant in the room
    • This is the first photo from Artemis2 , so earth is not flat , but we live on 1 continent only 1
    • Overall, all of Old Europe is poorly here: France - 0 medals, Germany - 0 medals, Italy - 1 bronze, Hungary - 1 bronze. For many years the fencing authorities' policy has been to give greater support to Asia and other new emergent countries: Africa, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Georgia, etc., and perhaps that's where Europe's crisis? Additionally Russia has returned and is immediately very strong.
    • and the bronze medal has gone, too   won 45-44
    • after the fireworks at the NCAA finals last week, Australian Open from tonight...expecting some interesting clockings
    • How are they going to decide who the 18 teams are for next year's championship? I see world 'C' events on the calendar already so some decisions have probably already been made.
    • qualified to both of Today's Gold Medal games    and beat  in both tournaments in their way through to the final    the disappointing campaign of the young  sabre continues (even if the boys are now playing for bronze against )
    • win against the hammer in the 11th!   Semis will be later tonight    v   v    Then two medal games tomorrow.
