Ugh, events in Switzerland and so even FIS can't put highlight videos online...or they simply refused to do so, which would be bad too.

Luckly on Eurosport Player the finals are available on demand

Yeah, I watched it there, but when writing a small item about a sport with not much interest, it's too empty to not have a video, especially in a sport where it's really just about actually seeing it :p

At least FIS put something on their Twitter account, which is better than nothing.

That's weird. Why did they? Did you happen to hear or read anything about it?

Well, that is a bit too more complicated in fact

1) he was born in the Czech Republic to Czech parents, but to be fair, he lived in Austria since his childhood. There he learned to ski. As he said he has not so many relations to czechia now anymore, he barely remember last time he was there and he basically said he has no friends anymore there at all for example.

2) The Austrian Federation offered him before this season better conditions, which he obviously took advantage of. Possibilities and condittions he would never had the chance to receive in CZE.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
