A top 3 finish would put her ahead of silva from brazil in the final spot but..... If Silva finishes better than 17th in St. Moritz she improves her score and Hunko of Ukraine (also competing in Winterberg) could still finish ahead of both of them. Hunko also had a 3rd place (would improve her score by 18 points) taken away for some reason (the whole event in Altenberg is not being counted for some reason). Sadly all those calculations are now meaningless as she will not compete in Winterberg tomorrow due to postive covid test She lost fight for Olympics in last possible moment in the worst way... evil betty 10 Posted January 14, 2022 #53 Share Posted January 14, 2022 In tomorrow's monobob race, Silva has to finish 15th or better to catch Andreutti, unless Andreutti finishes 17th or better, for the last olympic spot. To catch Hunko of Ukraine Silva needs to be 13th or better, and Andreutti needs to be 16th or better.
dcro 9,837 Posted January 16, 2022 #54 Share Posted January 16, 2022 Kibermanis wins the last race of the season, but don't read too much into it, the Latvians are always good in St. Moritz. De Bruin placed 16th, for what it's worth, he failed to meet the Dutch NOC requirements. #banbestmen
