I think another reallocation place will be available if Germany stays in 3rd position. I doubt that Germany will nominate more than 5 men (unless Zobel having a fantastic pursuit race on Sunday). Sweden will overtake Germany for 3rd place if and only if they win the relay on Saturday (which is totally possible, esp. without Norwegian A team) and Germany finishing 3rd or worse.

Same applies for France I reckon :mumble:

I don't see us sending Perrot just to sit there and undergo daily PCR tests, even more while the Junior World Champs are taking place :mumble:Nor any other IBU Cp athlete in fact.

Germany will definitely send six athletes. It is also about securing the relay in case of quarantine. It would be stupid if a country wouldn‘t use all the spots.

I am not sure about that. Why the internal qualification standards then (1x TOP 8 or 2x TOP 15)? For securing the relay you can justify athlete no. 5 - but six? I don't know. But we'll see. ;-)

:JPN have to end the worst in 10th place. (assuming SVK will not finish better than 16th)

...and that's highly unlikely given the recent performance of the Japanese men. So I think SVK can start to prepare their relay team for Beijing. ;-)

Bernd Eisenbichler, sporting director of biathlon in Germany, has already confirmed that if six men will go there, even without the standard. The sixth man will be determined after Ruhpolding or Antholz at the latest. The same applies to the fifth lady. 4 ladies+5 men are already sure.

and Ester Ledecká was not considered to finish in top 20 in PyeongChang Super-G :d

I´ve seen so many incredible things in sports in my life that unless it is completely over I won´t believe anything. Japanese men are great in shooting, without any spare they can very well have the day of their lifes, and it can also very well be on this Saturday. Would not surprise me at all as it will perfectly fit with Slovak sport luck ;)
