Yes that is why this group match is getting so tense up as well. Difficult to determine the winner.

It could very well come down to the 2nd doubles but :INA can absolutely win the 1st doubles or 2nd singles (though Christie didn't look good against Thailand)

You are right. I also believe that somehow Indonesia will win and prevail today.

It is getting so tensed up now.

MS 1 - Anthony win

MD 1 - Lee / Wang win

So it is tied at 1 all now. Well I think Indonesia should have fielded their rank no 1 MD and rank no 2 MD to play today. Surely the Indonesia MD 1 could have won the MD match easily today.

So this exciting MS 2 match ended up with Indonesia winning it.

Indonesia is now leading 2-1.

MS 1 - Indonesia

MD 1 - Taipei

MS 2 - Indonesia

MD 2 match I believe Indonesia will be able to win it easily too.

Easily? Really? They played a damn close game against the world's no. 94 from Thailand. How the heck would the world's no. 3 be easy?

Neither will the MD2 be. Indonesia should win 3rd singles, but nothing's easy in this match!

You are right. Every point is hard fought as it is. Agreed.

Was busy with India-Thailand match. Quite impressed even with 0-5 defeat. Apart from Ashwini-Sikki the rest of the members today were 20,18,18,18,16 year olds.

Gronya Sommerville even went on to call Tasnim Mir(16 year old) - The Next Sindhu.

Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases

It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places.
