good 3 medals for Italy, even if I'm always asking myself why an already established senior like Tacchini must waste a lot of energy by competing every year in all the age group races? (when you're an Olympic finalist and 4th at the following world champs, you shouldn't go anymore to this kind of events)...

Gold in the last day of competitions and the sweetest of all, U23 K4-500m close our participation in a best way.

5 medals (1-2-2) in overall is more, much more than expected. In fact we were hoping for one in the K4 and our youngs will travel back home with 5. Very well done :yes

At least these were world championships, but I wonder why he did compete, earlier this year, at the European U23 Ch'ships...

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?

    • Honestly, I think you guys have a much better chance of success here than we do. It's already difficult to maintain this sport, and with this ridiculous format this year, things have gotten even worse. Years and years participating in the elite and we haven't been able to evolve; it was just a waste.

    • Another weak result for our athletics team, which is typical; without Caio or Alisson, our chances of a medal in any high-level tournament are almost zero.   However, Juliana's result in the women's pole vault was a great 7th place. She is improving rapidly and still has a lot of room for growth.
