No clue whatsoever... document omits the way Poomsae quotas will be distributed.

My understanding is this (not 100% sure):

5 teams in poomsae will qualify (5 each, with the teams consisting of 2 or 3 men/women each) +  Peru 5. There is an extra spot which will be for females only (individual). How stupid is this system?

Really stupid... no need for Poomsae events, much less this mixed team.

Well, if the US send their second rate team in women's artistic gymnastics, I wonder how much Canada and Brazil could benefit from it in 2019. I mean, no country in the world can stop the A-Team from the US, but the B-Team? There's a chance. A small chance, but a chance nevertheless.

Badminton Quotas, every country ranked got spots except Honduras. Not sure if countries will use their entire allocation. If they don't I would assume Honduras would have first right of refusal. Also, I believe Haiti is also interested in quotas, but this year unranked countries might not be eligible (I am not sure).

It's amazing how bad we are in badminton, there is no other sport in which we are nearly as bad as this one.

Expand

Every country has that one sport they are really bad at.

Canada has handball. It all comes down to funding/interest.

What about diving? It's not a sport per se, but I've never seen an Argentinian diver since Veronica Ribot
