CAN losing to AUS in one game, by a point or two, fine.  Things happen.  

 

This is like NHL level Team Canada losing in men's hockey to China 15-0.  This is so pathetic you have to wonder what's going on.  

 

Even with a win against undefeated Italy tomorrow, Canada likely doesn't make the playoffs now.  That's only twice in our history we haven't made the playoffs, Homan has been part of both teams.  But actually, I'd blame John more.  

 

I mean, neither of them should be allowed back in the country at this point (joking, of course).

If Italy holds on to beat Sweden there's still a chance for Canada to make the playoffs if they beat Italy.  GB beating Norway would help, too.

 

Sorry for the pessimistic posts, this is just pathetic.  Like, lose to Australia fine.  But this is sad.  But who knows.
