He swam the time in Stockholm. And he was far from the only one with the standard: Swimify - Malmsten Swim Open Stockholm

Meeting still takes place until Sunday.

I hadn't checked the results of that meet yet and was assuming he swum at his national championships :facepalm::lol:

very depressing day #2 at the :ITA Spring Nationals

 

only 3 qualifying times for the World Champs recorded earlier tonight:

 

Thomas Ceccon (very modest 53.36, men's 100m Back)

Federico Poggio, 58.73 beating the reigning world champion Nicolò Martinenghi, 59.06 (men's 100m Breast)

 

other champions (outside the QT for Fukuoka):

 

Silvia Scalia (28.04, women's 50m Back)

Federico Burdisso (23.52, men's 50m Fly)

Ilaria Bianchi (58.45, women's 100m Fly)

Martina Carraro (2.24.22, women's 200m Breast)

Simona Quadarella (1.59.41, women's 200m Free...it looks a Century ago when this race was the most anticipated and excting of the whole meet...how much we miss you, Federica! :cry:)

There's not that much going on at the national championships. The most important national championships are going to be held in Summer. 

 

These ones are mostly valuable for European Junior, EYOF and U23 qualifications.

Evening session on Day 3 of the TYR Pro Swim Series Westmont saw the following swimmers achieve new OQT’s. 
 

Women’s 200m Butterfly
