These following spots should/could be forfeit by the french federation :

  • Orlann Olière, women's 100m
  • Solène Gicquel, women's high jump
  • Bérénice Cleyet-Merle, women's 1500m
  • Amandine Brossier, women's 400m
  • Léna Kandissounon, women's 800m
  • Ninon Chapelle, women's pole vault
  • Pablo Matéo, men's 100m
  • Romain Mornet, men's 1500m
  • Baptiste Thiery, men's pole vault

Sad for Gicquel but if this becomes official then it would mean :GRE Dosi gets in.

Chapelle I believe is injured anyways, and the next athlete to get in would be :FRA Dehaynain, so do you know if that quota would also be refused? @De_Gambassi

So we qualified 4 via entry standard and 9 via ranking.

Now we have:

1 out - Panagiota Dosi (women's high jump)

2 out - Alexandros Papamichail and Panagiota Tsinopoulou (mixed walk relay)

3 out - Konstantinos Zaltos (men's hammer throw)

3 out - Dimitrios Tsiamis (men's triple jump)

3 out - Christina Papadopoulou (women's 20km walk - if they fix the ranking)

Of course there are others but I think anyone who is more than 3 out is unlikely to get in.

We already heard rumours here that Dosi will get in and Zaltos will move up two spots so let's see.

Also :FRA Hodebar is 2 out of the men's triple jump, will his quota also be refused? @De_Gambassi

I have a question that maybe dumb but not sure if it is throughly explained on the PDF:

How does reallocation happen AFTER july 7? does it go the same way?

And I wonder if WA will release all Universality places by next week as well

He is 1st Alternate now. As Sreeshankar :IND is currently 7th in the list ( He achieved entry standard last year) but is out injured & won’t participate in Paris.
Jeswin Aldrin :IND our other long jumper is currently placed 33rd ( first alternate) but he will get in due to his teammate withdrawal .  So Meindlschmid :CZE is now the first alternate in the list. You need just 1 more withdrawal.

Thanks for the heads up. Does anybody know how about :SWE Thobias Montler? I know that he did not participate in ECH this year but he won the national championship with 765cm on June 28th. Will he be going to Paris?

I know it's pretty pointless now since the marathon qualification ended months ago and half the athletes on here have already been mentioned but since I feel it'd be stupid of me not to finish this off after a year and a half of doing it here are the final marathon runners who got the standard since I last updated my list on 9th April:

Chevrier is ;) According to the french athletics federation rules, athletes have to be ranked in the Top 24 (or the Top 32 if they won the national championship). Possibly, other athletes might be selected for whatever reasons.

At the end of the day, Gicquel might be selected (ranked 26th, national vice-champion, world championship finalist...), but I don't think Dehaynain or Hodebar will.
