At least in the administration of the federations we are not very different. In Brazil we have bad management and corruption. However, in terms of financial support we're still at the peak, with more than 6,000 athletes receiving government allowances, but this should decrease in the coming years.

The organizing committee does not have much scheduling experience. It's a disaster. They should concentrate the gross of the medals on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and not on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This would improve the on-site and TV audience.

Agora, Wallinson Luz disse:

A question to the Argentine friends: how alternative was the Argentine team in men's rugby? Team B, Team C...?

Brazil sent the main team and finished fourth. Expected, but they could fight for the bronze.

Brazil is sending 310 athletes to Cochabamba. The complete list is here: https://www.cob.org.br/en/time-brasil/jogos-sul-americanos-cochabamba-2018/nossos-atletas-em-cochabamba

We are sending A-teams in the following sports: athletics, badminton, bowling, canoeing, track cycling, fencing, trampoline, handball, field hockey, rugby, karate, wrestling, synchronized swimming, figure skating, diving and shooting.

Other sports are sending alternative teams but with pretty good athletes such as Arthur Zanetti, Flavia Saraiva, Jade Barbosa, Caio Souza, Francisco Barretto, Natália Gaudio and Maicon Andrade.

The official website of the games showed the list of all the athletes registered on 05/17, with the exception of Colombia and Venezuela. For some reason they deleted the list at the end of the day. I managed to extract some names but unfortunately not all of them.

Brazil inscribed an athlete in equestrian: Sérgio Henrique Neves Marins (jumping).
