Jozef Ninis vyrovná absolútny rekord! Slovensko posiela päť sánkarov na ZOH 2026

 
Slovenskí sánkari získali päť miesteniek na ZOH 2026 v Miláne a Cortine d'Ampezzo. Jozef Ninis pôjde už na svoju šiestu zimnú olympiádu a vyrovná rekordný zápis rýchlostného kanoistu Erika Vlčeka.
V súťažiach dvojíc zasiahnu do bojov Christián Bosman s Brunom Mickom a Viktória Praxová s Desanou Špitzovou.
 
V pretekoch miešaných štafiet Slovensko nebude mať zastúpenie.
 
O olympijských miestenkách definitívne rozhodlo postavenie v redukovanom poradí Svetového pohára po víkendovom podujatí v nemeckom Winterbergu. Na ZOH 2026 sa medzi jednotlivcami predstaví 25 mužov i žien, 17 mužských dvojíc a 11 ženských dvojíc.
  Olympiáda tesne unikla Mariánovi Skupekovi, ktorý je prvý pod čiarou. Blízko k účasti pod piatimi kruhmi bol aj tandem Tomáš Vaverčák, Matej Zmij. Vaverčák však utrpel na podujatí SP v lotyšskej Sigulde zranenie kolena.
 

 
Ninis sa stane prvým Slovákom so šiestimi účasťami na ZOH v ére samostatnosti. Debut absolvoval na ZOH 2006 v Turíne, Jeho doterajším maximum je 20. miesto zo ZOH 2014 v Soči. Pred štyrmi rokmi v Pekingu skončil na 21. priečke.
 
Pre Bosmana, Bruna Micka, Praxovú i Špitzovú to bude olympijská premiéra. Súťaž ženských dvojíc je súčasťou najväčšieho sviatku svetového športu prvýkrát.

I do not think you are correct in the M Doubles, It should be UKR who has 2 sleds instead of us.
