  14. So I gave it another chance...but I can not help myself, I can not find any sympathy or excitement for this single mixed relay. This is The most useless and ridiculous biathlon event, this should definitely stay on the auf schalke exhibitions gala or so
  15. Some small news from Slovakia Yesterday started the protest of 6 deputees from Progresivne Slovensko/Spolu (Progressive Slovakia/Together) directly in the parliament. They decided to start blocking the speaking podium of the parliament and by this effectively blocking the session attempting to prevent the passing of doubled family allowances, the introduction of 13th pension, the scrapping of motorway vignettes and especially stop the rejection of Istanbul Convention in a fast-tracked procedure two weeks away from the parliamentary election. They symbolically placed a wedding cake on the podium to symbolize the “marriage” between Smer-SD and the neo-nazis dickheads of LSNS. Since the Kotleba party announced they will vote for the Smer-SD propositions (Obviously because of the Istanbul Convention rejection) more here https://newsnow.tasr.sk/policy/danko-halts-special-session-after-beblavy-puts-wedding-cake-on-podium/ However this session was suddenly announced by Smer-SD and SNS only two days ago, even if there was not any session schedulled until the new elections of the next week. The opposition calling it a populistic move from the leading party before the not good looking elections for them, that can totally destroy slovak economy They also passed the night there with their pyjamas and everything more here https://newsnow.tasr.sk/policy/beblavy-and-company-geared-up-to-spend-night-in-parliament/ and today they continued and succeded again since the session couldn´t resume and was again postponed until tomorrow, Beblavý and co. already announced they will continue their camping and obstructions until the very end. Gonna be interesting parliamentary elections in 10 days here
  16. well, everyone can win a medal, canoeing slalom is a great but also somehow strange sport that combine incredible skills, power with unpredictable randomness. it is a sport where you need not only performance, quality but also a bit of luck. first it is important to avoid a 50 and advance to the semifinals. then to repeat it and make it into the final (only top 10) even if at the Olympic Games it is obviously much easier because of the shittiest of all rules - the 1 boat per country stupidity, in contrary of the world cups or wch. And then it depend on how the track is buid and with some luck in a given day evyrone who made it to the final can win
  17. This is some quite impressive squad as well, will be interesting to see if Elosegi will be finally able to improve his olympics pb
  18. Yes, well, I wouldn´t valuate the youth olympics medal too much, that BS "obstacle" head to head flat water competition on the youth olympics is far from the real canoeing slalom. Jegou was always a pure talent, but seems to struggle on harder tracks, his main problem is the lack of stamina and endurance, he should to work more on his musculature, in other hand he has good technique and has enough dynamic strength to be really fast on shorter or easier tracks (like the Tokyo one) Personally I would not be surprised to see him in the final at all
  19. Good for him and for Ireland as well. Liam is the current number 1 paddler, no doubts about, I can see him to battle for the final. The guy has actually more chances for something interesting in Tokyo than anyone else from Ireland in this sport.
  20. Stage 11 in Are (SWE) Men´s Sprint Freestyle: 1. Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo 2. Federico Pellegrino 3. Renaud Jay Full Final Result HERE
