  1. Another incredible own goal in the KHL ! This time by the slovak team Slovan Bratislava Jonathan Cheechoo scored a wonderful own goal throughout the whole rink, when Slovan was 3-2 down against local CSKA Moscow in the last minute of the match so they started play a empty net power play in order to tie the game, but unfortunately after this unbelievable mistake between Cheechoo and the defencer Tomáš Starosta it ended with a 4-2 win for CSKA and a endless shame for Slovan

  7. Nice win At least Domi showed that she belongs there
  8. well 3rd place (If we not count SVK) is not bad at all, I´m actually also a bit surprised, I thought Turkey, Bulgaria or Egypt which was always very popular summer destinations will be much more higher. Too bad I can´t anywhere find which places of Italy were the most populars, but I guess it was mainly the seaside resorts
  9. bit off topic, but just found it in our medias The top most popular holidays destinations of slovak tourists this summer in percent Slovensko is SVK (Mainly the Tatras mountains) Chorvátsko is CRO ("slovak" sea ) ČR is CZE Taliansko is ITA Grécko is GRE Maďarsko is HUN
  10. yes yes borders, frontiers haha sorry It wasn´t hard, because in slovak it´s Hra bez hraníc. elementary, my dear Watson but the second one I don´t know više te nema više is something high, higher and nema means probably haven´t...so maybe I haven´t you higher ?

  13. PYEONGCHANG OLYMPIC STADIUM Sports: OPENING CEREMONY, CLOSING CEREMONY Cluster: Mountain Location: Daegwallyeong-myeon, PyeongChang The PyeongChang Olympic Stadium will be a temporary venue and will use only for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the XXIII. Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang 2018. The Stadium will be a pentagonal arena in the precinct of PyeongChang Olympic Plaza near to the Alpensia Ski resort, The venue will also serve as the medal plaza during the games. In the candidacy file of Pyeongchang 2018, the Opening and Closing Ceremonies were foreseen to take place in Alpensia Ski Jumping Stadium. This was a plan similar to the one of the 1994 Winter Olympics. However, in July 2012, the POCOG announced some changes in the venue plan and the ceremonies were moved to Hoenggye. The main reasons were organisational, with possible interference between the preparation of the ceremonies and the ski jumping training, and the weather conditions for the spectators. The Stadium will be the final major Olympic venue to be completed, with end of construction expected in September 2017 In addition, next to the stadium will be an Olympic exhibition hall, as well as traditional food markets and other attractions, which will remain as heritage facilities. The Capacity of the Stadium will be 35.000 temporary seats.

  18. Tychy does it again Polish team moves on to third round The GKS Tychy players are all smiles after winning Group C of the Continental Cup on home ice. Like one year ago GKS Tychy won its second-round tournament of the Continental Cup on home ice. Now the Polish team hopes to make the final round again. Overcoming the first hurdle wasn’t easy though for the runner-up from the Polish league. After blanking Romanian champion Dunarea Galati 12-0 on the opening day including hat tricks from Adam Baginski and Mateusz Bepierszcz they struggled in the second game. On Saturday evening Tychy outshot Acroni Jesenice 41-26 but had trouble beating a strong Slovenian goalie Zan Us. Jaroslav Kristek scored Tychy’s only goal of the game to open the scoring with 41 seconds left in the middle frame but Martin Oraze tied it up for Jesenice on a two-man advantage early in the second period and Marjan Manfreda scored the game winner for the Slovenes 77 seconds into overtime. The loss put the tournament hosts in a difficult position. Hungarian champion DVTK Jegesmedvek Miskolc started the event with six points after two games with their wins against both Jesenice, 4-1, and Galati, 5-1. Now the Hungarian “Polar Bears” just needed a win or a regulation-time tie against Tychy to advance while the Polish hosts needed a regulation-time win to move back to first place. Roland Hajos opened the scoring for the team from Miskolc with a power-play marker at 3:36 but Tychy reacted on its man advantages as well. Jaroslav Kristek at 13:42 and Michal Woznica three minutes later gave Tychy a 2-1 first-period lead. Tychy outshot Miskolc 39-17 but had again trouble hitting the back of the net during the second period while Adrian Toth tied the game at two for the Hungarians on another power play at 1:28 of the frame. In the third period and after a major penalty against Balint Magosi the Poles eventually found the path to success in front of 2,650 fans. Martin Vozdecky and Michal Kotlorz scored two goals during the five-minute penalty and Kristek with his second marker of the day scored into the empty net with 70 seconds left in the game for the final score of 5-2. In the next round GKS Tychy will travel to Italian champion Ritten Sport. The other teams in the group from 18 to 20 November will be Shakhtyor Soligorsk from Belarus and Kazakh champion Beibarys Atyrau.
  19. Panthers sweep in Jaca Nottingham moves to Odense for next count The Nottingham Panthers pose for a group photo after beating Latvian champion HK Liepaja in the deciding game. The Nottingham Panthers entered Group B in Jaca as favourites and they ended up as winners. A 28-4 goal record in three games clearly spoke in their favour The first game started with a little shocker when Guillermo Betran opened the scoring for the Spanish host CH Jaca against the Panthers but the British turnaround followed a few minutes later and the first period ended with a 6-2 lead for Nottingham, who eventually won the game 13-2. Brad Moran scored two goals and had four points. David Clarke and Robert MacMillan also netted the puck twice in front of 800 spectators at the small rink in the Aragonese city. The day after the Panthers continued with a 12-1 victory against Zeytinburnu Istanbul after generating 80 shots on goal of the Turkish champion. Nine different players scored for the Englishmen including Alexander Nikiforuk, Matthew Carter and Erik Lindhagen each having a pair of goals. The last day had to decide about the winner as Latvian champion HK Liepaja started with six points as well beating Zeytinburnu 8-1 and Jaca 10-2. The game was tense and Liepaja had a 38-29 shot-on-goal advantage against Nottingham. Imants Lescovs opened the scoring from the team of Latvia’s biggest Baltic Sea town but the Panthers bounced back with two goals from Great Britain national team forward David Clarke for a 2-1 lead after the first frame. “We were a little sloppy in the first 10 minutes but we regrouped,” said head coach Corey Neilson according to the club website and praised the special teams units. “Our PK has been good all year but our power play started to click and find some seams and some holes.” It was during the second and third period when the Latvian team became stronger offensively but it was fortuneless against the Panthers Finnish-Swedish goalie Miika Wiikman, who made 37 saves for a 97.37 save percentage. “We should have won this game. We were better, faster, more skilled but didn’t manage to score. We conceded goals due to individual mistakes,” Liepaja’s GM Toms Strauss said. Matthew Carter made things more difficult for the Latvians when he capitalized with a goal during the Panthers’ only power play of the second period to make it a 3-1 lead with 16 seconds left in the second period. The score remained until the final buzzer. The Panthers now advance to the next round where they will battle for a spot in the final tournament against Danish host Odense Bulldogs, the Angers Ducs from France and Ukrainian champion HC Donbass from 18 to 20 November.
