Yeah the tour of California is where is discovered an up and coming cyclist named Peter Sagan when I was 12. I also like Rob Britton’s attacks. I also liked the young American, something Lawson. Two years ago I discovered one of my new favorite riders, Tom S. (I can’t speak his last name, Lithuanians need to calm down with their surname spellings)

At least my states tour gets some actual world class riders. The tour of California stages could be better though. Only 6 and 7 were interesting this year. Also, I want the Solvang time trial stage back.

Yes CAVB is definitely giving points for Beach Volley. I’ve been trying to tell people that I’m almost certain that Group C Jumping qualification is at the African Games, but both @dcro and @JoshMartini007 have made good cases otherwise (and I believe them until, I see anything that says otherwise). For Fencing, it couldn’t be the Continental qualification tournament could it? Im also pretty sure shooting is giving direct quotas, but I could be worng. Also, how the in the world, is Cycling a qualification event? It isn’t the Continental qualification is it? Why does African always have to be so difficult in the age of instant information!?!?

He better not, it’s going to be my safe haven in 2021 if he gets relected.

Ah, one of my favorite events of the year. Honestly one of the best end of summer traditions in America. All the games live on TV, and the bring our all the production stops. Plus, something stupid almost always happens.

Alright, so this week alone Trump has: Directed his aides to begin talks with Denmark to buy Greenland (I’m sure there’s no way this happens (we already tried once a while ago)) Refused to condemn the the People’s Republic of China after they’ve continued to build up their military at the Hong Kong border Thanked Israel for blocking an democratic senator of Palestinian decent from visiting the West Bank to see her grandmother, and take up the country’s offer of seeing West Bank issues first hand Thank Kim Jong Un for sending him a “nice letter”, and then continuing to let him test missiles Now, when I think “What countries do I want to be associated as allies and friendly with?”; the People’s Republic of China, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and Israel are NOT at the top of the list. In fact, those are very close to being the bottom three on that list. Also, personally, I don’t want to be known as the country that recolonizes Greenland, helps increase their ice melt, and takes all their natural resources for our own use. Ugh! I just want it be January 1, 2021 already. That will be the day we get new hope, or I move to the EU and never comeback.

You could take Surfing (All Events besides Open), Waterski (All Events), Sailing (All non-Olympic Events), and Bodybuilding (All Events) out of the main Pan American Games, and put them into the Pan American Beach Games. The games should also feature 5k Open Water, Beach Water Polo, Beach Ultimate Frisbee, Beach Soccer, Beach Handball, Coastal Rowing, Karate (Kata), Taekwondo (Poomsae), Triathlon (Aquathlon), and Beach Wrestling.

Supposedly the boats are one design, and will be provided at the Olympics. I’m not sure about qualification events.

Not that impressed with the amount of information available. I expected a little more from Morocco to be honest. The Beach Volleyball venue isn’t that great either.

I have to disagree here. I think this is the perfect event for the Olympics. The Volvo Ocean Race has never been more popular (it’s televised in the US all the time), and longer race tours are becoming more frequent. It makes sense to add an event like this to the Olympics. They actually wanted to add it in Tokyo, but IOC said they’d need more time to prepare and organize something like this. I don’t know if it’s officially in the 2024 Olympics yet, since the program isn’t confirmed. I don’t think this event is a perfect fit for the Olympics, but I’m ready to give it a chance. Plus, it’s closer to how sport sailing has been conducted for hundreds of years.

I don’t think most Beach Games are supposed to be serious. I think they’re marketed as a fun sporting festival where athletes who normally wouldn’t get the chance can represent their countries, in some exciting events. I quite like the model actually. Beach Games also serve as a nice holdover until the “real” games. I quite enjoyed the African Beach Games. Hopefully the streaming is good so I can enjoy these too. I actually PanAmSports should adopt this model too @intoronto @vinipereira @mrv86.

I was wondering the same thing. Middle Distance is kind of watchable. Long Distance is completely unwatchable. Sprint I’ve really enjoyed watching. Same with the relay. The sprint is the most marketable event and they left it off the program. It’s a bizarre choice to me. Plus, I wouldn’t watch it anyways since they expect me to pay €10 to watch it.

I like that you can use an app the virtual compete against them in near live time. It’d be interesting to see if any can beat real Olympians on the Olympic course. I also like the on-board 24/7 cameras, and the fact the race for 24 hours. I think it should really reenergize the program. I really hope to see some great sailing and great sailors. I’m totally ready like you, to give it a chance.

I swear Esow, or an Esow, competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, or now as I think about it, I was just watch 2018 Asian Games replays a while back. Did he compete there?

It’s a bit ambitious, but I’m honestly down to give this event a shot. There are some really cool ideas in video about the event. Based of the description, it would meet my personal requirements for Olympic inclusion. Video Description:
