  1. I’m really looking forward to season three.
  2. was allocated their first quotas in inline hockey according to the IWGA's qualifications page.
  3. Acrobatic Gymnastics quotas as listed by the FIG: 2025_TWG_Chengdu_ACRO qualifiers.pdf
  4. I watched the long distance replay a while back, and don't remeber having too many issues with the quality.
  5. Replay of the men's and women's short distance from Birmingham 2022 in case you're interested @heywoodu
  6. From page 26 of the ICF Canoe Marathon Competition Rules: Link: https://www.canoeicf.com/sites/default/files/2023_icf_competition_rules_marathon_final.pdf
  7. Alright, assuming I've interpreted the canoe marathon qualification system correctly... Link: https://www.canoeicf.com/sites/default/files/world_games_rules_2025_proposal_rh_bv_rh_bv.pdf The quotas might be allocated as follows: Women's K1 - / The America's continental quota might go to (all athletes from the region were lapped), while Africa might go to (both their athletes finished with DNF) / The short distance quotas might go to (I'm not sure how these would be affected by potential continental reallocations) Men's K1 - / The final short distance quota might go (based off semifinal time) As always, none of this is official, as only the international federation can confirm who qualified.
  8. It’s not even autumn yet
  9. You still have the entirety of the 2024-2025 season to acclimatize at least. PDT might be one of the tougher time zones for following international sports though. I’ve had a lot of late nights and early mornings.
  10. Very nostalgic for me as I grew up watching the replays on YouTube.
  11. Probably my second favorite of the WOG broadcast logos behind Pyeongchang 2018.
  12. I missed this earlier in the week, but that's awesome
  13. Taking some insipration from @PHI2019, here's a link to the regulations (including the sports program): https://www.fisu.net/app/uploads/2024/04/20240111_Torino-2025-FISU-Games-Regulations-Feb2024.pdf The biggest change to the sports program, aside from the optional sports and inclsion of para sports, might be cross country skiing, where the "pursuit" event has been dropped.
  14. now appear on the IWGA's qualification page after powerlifting added/confirmed some allocations.
  15. The "Flame of Knowledge" will be lit in Torino on September 20. More info: https://www.fisu.net/2024/09/10/the-flame-of-knowledges-journey-unveiled/
  16. Falling has always been a big part of skateboarding though. Learning to withstand slams, becoming resilient, feeling the satisfaction of landing a trick, etc. are a big part of the culture of the sport. I could see how that might frustrate some spectators, but I personally love seeing somebody finally land a trick after battling to complete it.
  17. I missed this annoucment somehow, but the teams competing in curling are known: https://www.fisu.net/2024/07/12/here-are-the-28-curling-teams-selected-for-torino-2025/?event_type=24 Men - Women - Mixed Doubles -
  18. Okay, so...looking at the racquetball qualification guidelines: https://www.internationalracquetball.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/IRF-Qualification-TWG2025s.pdf ...and the viewing the combined team ranking from the 2024 world championships published by the IRF: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/h84c4jrag5igeutgrllr6/AIaQJvUOJj94K5oVOnphrzE?dl=0&e=1&preview=9+Combined+Team+Competition.pdf&rlkey=npybeo0ohksyc7bri7os9xfvf&st=zyxy65ap should each be in line to recieve one male and one female quota. I'm not sure if NFs that only entered one gender will be offered quotas, but if that's the case, might also be in line for quotas. didn't compete at the world championships, so I'm not sure about their quotas either. As always, none of this is official, as only the international federation can confirm who qualified.
  19. "Flash flooding" can be a big issue in parts of the Western US as well.
  20. Some additional info about a variety of things, including Lima 2027 qualification: https://www.panamsports.org/en/news-sport/find-out-the-sports-disciplines-ages-and-number-of-athletes-for-the-asuncion-2025-junior-pan-american-games/
  21. There were available on their pay service.
  22. Okay, I used the tables in the article to calculate the qualification rankings for flying disc (ultimate): https://wfdf.sport/2024/08/road-to-chengdu-qualifying-for-the-world-games-at-wuc-2024/ should be qualified by my math. are tied in ranking points, so assuming gets the host quota, I'm not sure who gets the last quota place between those two teams. Of course, none of this is official as only the federation can confirm who qualified.
  23. swept all three events: open, women's and mixed
  24. were approved as new members of the WFDF ahead of the world ultimate championships last week: https://wfdf.sport/2024/09/wfdf-congress-approves-new-national-federation-members/
