  1. Yes, I was actually thinking of something that could compare in these games, I could have been clearer about that.
  2. Copravolley's post had me thinking, what would be considered comparable to tonight's upset? Norway losing the men's relay or the men's team sprint in cross-country?
  3. That's not the case. It's not even in the same galaxy as what happened tonight.
  4. That tells you everything there is to know about the state of our technical disciplines
  5. Mission accomplished - it was very hard to lose given the situation we were in with two stones to go in the 10th, but our guys did it.
  6. I want as many as possible Also, we are doing well so far, but the vast majority of our medal chances are concentrated in the first half of the Games, so we have to maximize the medal count this week.
  7. 5th place for Bagnis, another disappointment in a day of disappointments (not as huge as others, of course).
  8. Bagnis with a decent run, but he's not making up 2 tenths.
  9. Per completare la peggiore giornata di Milano Cortina - per distacco - nel curling ci fumiamo subito il tesoretto della doppia vittoria su Svezia e Gran Bretagna.
  10. Retornaz with the fail of the day What an inglorious way to throw away the bonus we had after beating GBR.
  11. Germany scores 3 instead of 5, there is still a bit of life.
  12. Retornaz completes the suicide, there goes the game
  13. Mosaner back to his messing up ways
L'obiettivo secondo me deve essere rimanere in quota in vista dell'inseguimento.
  15. Weston with another TR, his lead is up to 0.39. Grotheer increases the gap on Chen for third. Bagnis was slightly faster than Chen and tied with Grotheer in this run, but that bad 2nd run will keep him out of podium contention.
  16. Could be a pretty good draw, as apparently it may rain in Bormio tomorrow morning
  17. Props to Bergsma for being on the podium at 40, but that makes Ghiotto's failure even harder to digest. Imagining him out of the podium in a race where Bergsma takes bronze with 12.40 was just unthinkable
  18. Loubineaud too slow as well, it's going to be bronze for Bergsma
  19. Eitrem is blowing up, the question is whether Loubineaud can contend for a podium place
  20. That’s the final nail in the coffin for the team pursuit as well. Atrocious day for Italy overall.
  21. Ghiotto does not look good to me. EDIT: Disastrous day for Italy, no medal for Ghiotto is beyond the most nightmarish predictions
  22. Same here, I still haven’t really figured out how fast the track is. Athletes seem to consider it quite slow, but there have been a lot of OR.
  23. A 12.39 for Semirunniy. Probably a podium-level time, maybe not enough for gold?
