These World Standards are very weird, how can the World Standard in the new Women's -87kg for Snatch be 132kg and 164kg for C&J when the now historic WRs for Women's -90kg are 130kg and 160kg, respectively?

This seems to be a trend, just like in Shooting. In these sports, it should be quiet during competition, in my opinion. There should be a degree of suspense.

On a personal note, I don't mind Nabi winning medals since Estonia doesn't win too many and I support them. Although given the bracket I was surprised to see Kayaalp losing to him.

Maybe a gift for Russia not winning any golds last year? Are there any other wrestlers besides Nabi and Kudla you "enjoy very much"?

At this point I don't even care if they dropped GR completely and held 18-20 Freestyle events or added Belt Wrestling instead. The matches I watched today looked very boring and I didn't like most GR results anyway.

Do you know if there are any news on serious efforts to get Women's GR into the World Championships programme (let alone even Olympics)?

And of course both Kazakhs lost to Russia. Not a good championship for Armenia and South Korea it seems but Aleksanyan and Kim Hyeon-woo are still to come. How come the US team is so weak at Greco-Roman?

@dcro @MHSN Yes but since it's there we shouldn't forget there's still a world championship title for grabs but that title will look like a farce. Shows how in the mindset only the Olympics are important, although in a sport where we have world championships every year it's somewhat understandable.
