Finally Matti Mattsson got the 200m breaststroke OQT!

Zmushka qualified for the 200m breaststroke semis from heat 1. Don't think I've seen that before. Granted, the only reason she was in heat one was because she didn't have an entry time. She's definitely a good breaststroker.

PB and new OQT for Kai van Westering. Nice meet for him so far. Zheltiakov surprisingly finishing 22nd in heats.

The women's 200m freestyle is another event that could be very competitive at Canadian trials (behind McIntosh of course). You've got the veterans like Smith, Harvey, Savard, Ruck and maybe Oleksiak alongside the next wave of talent like Jansen, Brousseau and Angove. And there's also Douthwright and O'Croinin that should be in the mix as well.

Not too eventful of a day today. Great seeing Rapsys getting a medal. Didn't expect the men's 100m Backstroke to be that close at the end but that was a nice race by Gonzalez to challenge Armstrong. Shame that Chmielewski got DQ'd. Would've been amazing seeing both twins getting a medal. Another monster swim by Tang Qianting. Could possibly contend for gold in Paris at this rate.
