  1. Strong start for Neff, so far only Terpstra can follow somewhat. So cool to see Lenzerheide, every time I see any kind of competition there my heart goes all Best place on earth
  2. Yeah I think the legs of Avancini and Schurter are already burning right now just by thinking about it
  3. Last MTB race of the season today for Van der Poel, I'm curious
  4. Sorry, but that's goodbye to half the Olympics. Especially with number 4, you're only gonna get sports that fit the short attention span format of today.
  5. Yeah AZ isn't gonna have their home matches at home for a while
  6. Just a little scary when you're going to a restaurant down at the 'docks' (the places you see directly next to the water) with among others your sister's boyfriend who's in an electrical wheelchair and would be nearly impossible to get out of the water if he makes a tiny steering mistake
  7. Some celebratory scenes out of the Netherlands after today's epic final, it's just absolute mayhem from the center of Amsterdam: To the canals in Utrecht: Even the countryside has gone completely bonkers:
  8. Today's 5km in Ushuaia: https://www.fis-ski.com/DB/general/results.html?sectorcode=CC&raceid=34291 "But 19 minutes for the winner, that's terrible!" Yes, it is, because conditions were absolutely horrible! I mean, seriously, there is no way in hell a World Cup event would have not been cancelled with the just insane wind and snow conditions they had today. While skiing they could barely even see the track, and on the flat parts people had to use the uphill skiing technique just to keep going forward because of the wind! Good thing is, this levelled the playing field significantly, since dogshit under the ski's made a lot less of a difference considering it was now much more about skill and power. Great way to close the week, on to the South American championships (on the same track) next week
  9. Apparently Jeffrey Epstein has been so kind to take his own life in jail. Bye and thanks for freeing up some oxygen for someone useful to use
  10. As the junior women already showed yesterday (although to be fair, many of those seemed to be because of a lack of quality and/or a lack of learning from mistakes in previous laps).
  11. Sure, if the tickets are not too expensive, probably some people will come and watch the grass grow with something happening in between every few minutes for a few seconds
  12. Ah yeah. That rules out the Netherlands anyway
  13. Or play in small stadiums. I mean, like with any sport there's always a (small) group of people who actually like it. But a stadium for 10.000+ people, nah, that'll just look pathetic
  14. Dainese won the sprint, but meh, would have been so much more cool if Konychev won it.
  15. Alexander Konychev (that's Italy, not Russia ) getting closer and closer to finishing a rather epic solo in the U23 race, but the peloton is almost catching up...come on!
  16. I was waiting for your post about it Still a large majority of the Kingdom of the Netherlands' people doesn't give two shits about baseball
  17. You can scrap the Netherlands from that, because it's not anywhere close to that.
  18. It doesn't say how to get the book though
  19. The second part doesn't seem so terrible. Not special, but not terrible. That godawful first part though, holy shit.
  20. Wow, that sounds like Attention Whore 2.0
  21. I guess they built two trees (yes, built) in the Tokyo dock and there you go, woodlands.
  22. Now I'm curious about the part from 900 to 1000 meters
