  1. Premier is the Dutch word for prime minister
  2. This is cruel. They mention Niger, Guyana and Guinea-Bissau of all places, but not Slovakia https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/countries-that-have-both-a-president-and-a-prime-minister.html
  3. Exactly One royal/ceremonial leader One political leader Instead of two positions that are both known to be political leaders.
  4. I heard Norway brought huge amounts of asthma medicin doses to Pyeongchang WTF
  5. Countries that have both a prime minister and a president are too confusing, to be fair
  6. He's not anymore though, so I guess he can try and get that back if he's bored
  7. Definitely take a look at her reaction after the race then, seeing and hearing it is a lot stronger than just reading it. It'll be somewhere at the end (obviously ). https://www.redbull.com/my-en/events/AP-1XJS6EYM12111/live/AP-1XH4Y72KW1W11
  8. +1 for pasta The olives though, yuck. Garbage.
  9. Thanks. Doesn't seem to be very often updated, but who knows.
  10. Doesn't seem to be anything on YouTube about it? I thought it'd be fun to have a video of Namibia - The Netherlands to add to a little article about it
  11. You obviously don't know the heavenly hagelslag.
  12. No chance instead of stoopel it says 'stroopwafels'?
  13. Never in my life have I heard of 'stoopel' and googling reveals it's not really anything but a family name 'Poffer' isn't really used as a word, 'poffertjes' is (to make it 'little', not sure how you do that in Spanish but for example I know in Portuguese one would turn poffer into something like pofferzinho so I hope you get what I mean ). Poffertjes are sort of like little pancakes (like, bite-size, but a bit 'fatter' than a pancake) and are pretty good
  14. Not really, but my mom has a colleague who's husband is called 'Stoffer' so that kind of fits
  15. To be fair, don't expect much if you're gonna try and find food from country X all over the world. As if a Dutch restaurant (lol) in any random country would serve things Dutch people actually eat on a general basis.
  16. If you count tomatoes as vegetables, potatoes definitely are too. Nothing wrong with tomatoes by the way, same with carrots. Or better: I like raw carrots, not a fan of cooked ones.
  17. There's only two vegetables you eat for dinner? I think we can safely ban you from the thread.
  18. Not really. In recent times I only ate pea soup once or twice last winter (but one wouldn't recognize it as having formely been peas), like we usually do - it's a Dutch thing (the soup), but not like we eat it all the time. Apart from soup, I can't remember when there were peas in my food. At all. It's probably been years.
  19. No doubt Lampaert will accept it when opening his bank account later today (or accepted it because of this)
  20. You mean like going 100% at the front with one guy behind you....one of the world's fastest sprinters? I know probably Lampaert was just working for teammate Viviani, but still, that looked so freaking dumb
  21. Viviani loser. I hope he gets a flat tyre and Lampaert wins anyway. Even though being so lame is the smart move
  22. As Thomas de Gendt said: "You don't feel my legs"
  23. Even almost-world champion Tom Leezer isn't getting any closer to the three leaders.
