  1. I expect a whole lot of "I'm going to protest!" statements by athletes who'll not protest eventually.
  2. When I stayed 12 hours in a plane I mostly just imagined the best time for my one bathroom break and which playlists to listen while playing the trivia game over and over
  3. Tiziano Gravier going for 7th in the men's super-G
  4. Marie Köhler and Leonie Kloss didn't finish last in the Nations Cup. https://www.fil-luge.org/cdn/uploads/rlncdoubles-35.pdf
  5. Since it's a Ukrainian airline, letting Ukrainian experts in seems like the least they could do. First of all it is a major human tragedy, of course. About the second statement: I read somewhere, but forgot where, that the guy who filmed it said two missiles were launched. He didn't catch the first one, but that brought his attention to the sky and he did catch the second one.
  6. This would have been suspicious at any moment for exactly these reasons, but in these days the Suspicion Meter skyrockets to maximum..
  7. For all I care they give up every commentator and spend the money they save that way on, you know, showing sports.
  8. Yes, I am aware of that - because of your posts, actually. Doesn't make it look less pathetic though.
  9. A lack of misinformation seems like a good thing
  10. We could get an interesting race in Val di Fiemme today. Top-8 is within a minute (NOR/AUT) and Geiger/Riessle are 10-15 seconds behind them. http://medias3.fis-ski.com/pdf/2020/NK/4139/2020NK4139SLCC.pdf
  11. I get it less for the sliding events by the way. You don't need to show every corner, a handful of cameras is enough and they don't need to be expensive at all - that is, if St Moritz doesn't already have their own camera system they could piggyback on.
  12. Then they should stop promoting it like the whole thing is such a big deal. My main issue is with IOC and everyone around it making this seem like a huge deal and bringing it like we can all enjoy all of the sports for two weeks, when in reality we can only see a handful of things and not more than results and some photos for the rest.
  13. And not showing a huge part of medal events overall. And fuck equality, let's focus on a handful of sports and show a shitload of it, and totally ignore tons of classic winter sports' medal events.
  14. France's Catilin McFarlane going to silver with bib 36.
  15. Judging by her results, she seems to be better in slalom, so let's wait for that one
  16. Aaaaaaaaand it's gone, Amelie Klopfenstein restores some normality
  17. Noa Szollos sets the fastest time, defeating among others all the Austrians and Swedes
  18. Yeah it's surprisingly not bad. Although I still prefer FIS - bit more functionality and it's the one I'm used to anyway, the official one offers nothing extra to give up the thing I'm used to
  19. Wow, Pohjolainen must have made a huge mistake
  20. Three North Americans started, none finished.
  21. Ok, the super-G is not even close to one minute.
  22. The app has no live results and still nothing about the athletes
  23. Fairly sure official live timing is the bad thing with this results system, it generally sucks monkeyballs, so here is FIS' live timing for the super-G. http://live.fis-ski.com/lv-al5047.htm#/short
