  1. Free advice, never go to Antholz. Peak Italian chaos; missed the first 2 shoots due to in (and a thousand others with me). You can not sell more tickets than there are places.
  2. If anyone wants to go to the biathlon tomorrow, I have one ticket extra (Bruna isn't going).
  3. Right, a billion police cars can just race past the traffic hell in Antholz
  4. Also, you would have assumed they make things like public transport start in time. Nope, tomorrow is Sunday, so fuck people going to biathlon. France, you need to do better…
  5. Wow, that is typical. In Tesero I even showed my powerbank, no problem. Typical consistency too: you can bring an empty plastic bottle in Tesero, but apparently not in Antholz. They said nothing about my powerbank in Antholz.
  6. That would be awesome! If you manage to find the big one (Tina, I think? Not those Flo thingies) I assume it's 65 euro, but we certainly want one...
  7. In Milan the dining area is amazingly big and has so many options. In the more isolated locations it's decent as well, but nothing spectacular from what I've heard and seen. General service seems to be fine.
  8. To be fair, transport at Tesero at least from the Masi parking was fine, and the way back was no problem neither. So, @Agger, if you are by car, just pay the 40 euro for the parking.
  9. I think you're the one person who doesn't like this, besides that, he is very popular and liked all around the speed skating world luckily Awesome podium today!
  10. Another example of the somewhat chaotic organization: mascots are already nearly sold out We thought athletes would get one, but that's not the case. So we tried to find one, even in the Olympic 'village'/accomodation, but after not taking the opportunity on day one (ridiculous prices), we now may have missed out on one...
  11. My experiences so far are that many details feel....unorganized Definitely 10/10 for friendliness in general, but it also feels somewhat chaotic at times.
  12. 3,5 internet points for whoever guesses correctly which Olympic goodies these are
  13. That's too bad. Ok, at least 3 potential classics left.
  14. Too bad he has been sick for quite a bit (didn't finish in Falcade due to that for example), but still really nice to have seen him make his olympic debut
  15. If true it would be a nice example of someone putting personal relationships above whether or not someone has the right passport.
  16. Misfortune for Rakan Luckily he received plenty of help!
  17. This photo btw, Delia That pain in Bruna's face is real, she said her legs felt as if her bones were about to simply snap in half but she outright refused to stop the race. She has had DNF's in the past two seasons, but that was just not going to happen in this one. No way.
  18. Oh and last bit of experience from yesterday: we were yelling "Go Sami! Gooo Sami!!" whenever Samaneh Beyrami passed us and in the first lap, when she passed us at the uphill and we were screaming for her, she actually looked up for a second and had this huge smile, that was just awesome Plus I noticed that after we had been yelling for certain athletes for a while, other people around us started cheering for them too, including for Sami Unsurprisingly I didn't really see Iranian flags among the spectators, but this way at least she had some nice support during her whole race basically @MHSN
  19. Semirunniy vs Ghiotto Bergsma vs Bloemen Jilek vs Dawson Eitrem vs Loubineaud Can't wait! 10k is always the most awesome of disciplines but nowadays the line up is just so immensely deep
  20. I really doubt Tas gave up, she just had not a single tiny bit of power left to make another move, no matter how hard you fight, at some point you just....can't, anymore. Only shows how much she had given before that.
  21. Perhaps, but...give them a choice at least. If you're going to have a geographical nightmare of an Olympics, that's on you as organizers, don't make it the problem of the athletes.
  22. Nothing sad about it at all, Regina was awesome yesterday and her finish was clearly full of happiness Like Bruna said yesterday, Regina qualifying for the Olympics was one of the highlights of the entire qualifying period. For so many years she had been ridiculed and laughed at by athletes even from small countries, because 'her technique is bad', 'she is never gonna make it' and so on. Then in Trondheim last year she basically gave a big fuck you to all of them and qualified fair and square with an amazing race Bruna, Sami and Regina often hang out together in the Olympic accomodation, eat together, have fun together and so on, and they had made a deal together that they would wait for each other at the finish, no matter if there was 5 minutes or 50 minutes between their finishing times I don't know if it was possible to hear, but when Regina finished, Bruna was yelling at her "You are an Olympian! You are an Olympian!!!" And then coincidence got massive: when we (my dad and sister and Bruna's parents) were on the way back to the car, we ran into some people with Regina Martinez caps and such (there were a few of these groups), got talking to them.....turns out it was Regina's mother My dad and her spent a bit of time connecting their phones to share some photos he had (or a video of her finish, not sure), she was very happy with it!
  23. Me too, although I haven't heard if she has returned to the Olympic accomodation or stayed away now. Anyhow, we need her to at least be present for the team sprint on 18 February.
