  1. Shiffrin throws it away and there's the first ever podium for Scheib!
  2. Scheib from 14th to being one place away from her first ever podium
  3. 18 minutes to go for what feels like the real start of the winter (I know, there's also some people who watched the big air, I'm speaking personally )
  4. Football player Zé Carlos. He played a single match for Brazil, but it wasn't a small one: his only international match for Brazil was the 1998 World Cup semi against the Netherlands (because of Cafu being suspended). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zé_Carlos_(footballer,_born_1967)
  5. I'm still going to keep my eternal hopes for kabaddi I highly doubt I'm going to be really aware of cricket's existence in LA, other than a quick glance at the results, but kabaddi...oh boy, that'd be on the list of high priority sports in my viewing schedule
  6. Good news Anyhow, start list for tomorrow is out
  7. Must be cool though, if you're from India: basically your country is the one and only reason for an entire sport being in the Olympics, even though it is entirely obvious that it is only for the money (if it was for the sport itself, there would obviously not be a tiny 6-team tournament)
  8. Looks like barely brought a team. 500m men - Itzhak de Laat, Daan Kos 500m women - Angel Daleman 1000m men - Sjinkie Knegt 1000m women - Diede van Oorschot 1500m men - Sven Roes 1500m women - Zoë Deltrap, Angel Daleman, Xandra Velzeboer Only one out of six distances with a regular, full team (and of course the relays)
  9. I believe here the only exception is ski jumping in Rasnov which isn't on Eurosport, the World Cup seasons for all FIS sports (and biathlon) should be on Eurosport/HBO here. As far as I know, at least
  10. I was not expecting this to come back Awesome! Including the full and easy to read schedule
  11. Yeah, but the organizer's phone crashed and for some reason it seems like your PM with votes went down the drain with it, if I'm reading it correctly If that's correct, all you'd need to do is check your PM's and just copy the message and send it again
  12. Sorry, the tweet you posted loaded way later here, now I see it That's better indeed, thanks! Although it is rather ironic that they came up with this whole World Tour shtick with one of the main reasons being 'uniformity' and the 'package' being consistent and all that corporate nonsense, and for the very first event we are depending on a local federation posting the times on social media instead of on....you know....the World Tour website
  13. Where?! I have now found the official announcement PDF/event program, and it has a bit more, but still no full schedule Microsoft Word - Announcement ISU Short Track World Tour 2024-25_Montreal (a03.azurefd.net)
  14. Sure, and I get it's all great for the climate and everything, but we want to know what we can watch and when
  15. Starts in two days, but there appears to still be a distinct lack of any kind of schedule...? https://short-track.com/ What am I missing? @Josh Any chance you have more success in finding a schedule? There is no 'event page' or something, like you see in F1, MotoGP, every single FIS sport, etc. No menu, only a link to buy tickets, but...nothing else. Not even a start time (but of course we'd want to have the actual schedule and not just 'oh they start at 9-ish on Saturday morning'). Edit: the Speedskating Canada website isn't very helpful neither, although it does at least have a start time (but still no schedule that says exactly what's when). Also a 'Detailed schedule' button that leads back to the top of the page
  16. I'm still rearranging things in my mind and I already voted as well I know the feeling
  17. He literally said "I wouldn't be able to qualify for the Austrian team anymore" (apart from making it very clear his main reason to come back is because he also wants to end up representing his mother's country), so I highly doubt he is genuinely expecting to keep Odermatt away from his records
  18. Wasn't that already his job at INEOS before becoming more known as a cyclist himself?
  19. World Cups don't generally have the exotic competitors we see in the world championships though, it's more likely starting down with the 13th best Austrians and such
  20. has voted and I have been told has also voted, so those can be crossed off.
  21. Epic own goal for Sparta in the Dutch 1st division (or 2nd, whatever you call it, the one underneath the top flight ). At 1:00 in the video.
  22. Marc Marquez with a horror start (saved it nicely though)....turns out it was because right before the start, he took off a tear-off from his visor, threw it away and it ended up under his own bike
  23. That was Friday though, yesterday was better (although a seagull was destroyed by Miller) and today so far has not had any problem at all luckily
  24. And a Dutch record for Nyls Korstanje behind him
