  1. Everyone who is in this list and is not called Teddy Riner: too bad, nothing more than bronze for you
  2. Crappy draw for Polling, but apart from that, I can't complain about the Dutch draws
  3. And the draw takes literally 10 seconds per weight
  4. Marius Vizer, why do you sound like you REALLY don't wanna be there?
  5. I'm feeling like Cartman waiting for the Nintendo Wii...."come on....come on..!!"
  6. All these videos are taking longer than the draw
  7. To be fair (not to him, but to the Olympics), he got busted on a test at home apparently, not in Rio I doubt if this should count as a coping case during the Olympics..
  8. Is karate even a contact sport? I thought they don't hit each other And then there's kata, which should be in some sort of dancing competition, but not the Olympics..
  9. 70 minutes and it's still 0-0...come on, I don't wanna be watching for nothing
  10. Yes I did and no I didn't
  11. Michael O'Reilly is apparently the positive Irish boxer.. http://www.irishexaminer.com/rioolympics/rioolympics-analysis/irish-boxer-fails-drug-test-on-eve-of-rio-olympics-reports-414161.html
  12. Well yes, "mostly"...I'm still waiting for official, final words on the final lists of athletes
  13. We want names. We want names. We want names. We want names. IOC, can you hear us?
  14. Well that's one nation who won't have a certain first-round loss
  15. Apparently I had a good futuretelling globe, since all of the predictions with which I entered the prediction contest are still possible
  16. Interesting: literally everyone here is sad about the draws of their boxers...how is that possible?
  17. That's NED - IRI if I'm not mistaken? The winner of which will go up against AZE/UKR?
  18. Looks like all fencers have been approved by the IOC as well.
  19. Russian media saying the following sports are cleared by the IOC: - Handball (women's team) - Volleyball (all indoor and beach teams) - Boxing (all 11 qualified Russians) - Wrestling (all 16 approved Russians, so all qualified Russians minus Lebedev) - Shooting (all qualified Russians) - Judo (all qualified Russians) Rumours have it CAS upheld Morozov and Lobintsev's appeal, meaning they'd be allowed to compete, but I can't find anything official on that yet... Anyone care to help build this list now that more sports are confirming which Russians are allowed and which aren't?
  20. Exactly. The only dopers for which I have a slight bit of respect left are those that say "Yes, I doped. I made a stupid mistake and deserve whatever ban I'll get.", apart from the young teenage athletes who are likely to be forcefully doped by the state...that's not so much cheating on their side as it is simply child abuse.
  21. Well yeah, isn't that like Brazil B?
  22. With all due respect, I think I have never heard a team singing their national anthem so bad as the Iraqi's just now
  23. Add in some sort of miracle in the eventing and there you go, 6-7 medals, easy as pie
  24. I wish I could disagree, but yeah, though it is in theory of course possible, we'd need some kind of miracle to win more medals than Germany
  25. Apart from the men's 4x100 I agree that all of them have a good medal chance (some more than others of course), but if that group combined wins 13-14 medals, that would be extremely perfect
