The fact that the wearer of the leader's jersey in any cycling stage race has to ride a time trial in that leader's jersey instead of in his own time trial jersey is absolutely ridiculous by the way. Quintana now has a huge disadvantage by having to wear a simple pink jersey instead of Movistar's time trial jersey. This rule should seriously be changed.

You know tomorrow is a time trial right? It seems pretty realistic to think Dumoulin could win a minute. Unzue (the Movistar boss) said they wanted Quintana to have at least 2 minutes to sleep 'tranquillo' tonight, he thinks Dumoulin is the main favourite now (and so do the bookmakers ).

But it's such a beautiful side-step away from the usual tracks, all the awesome places like Carousel, Döttinger Höhe and so on And all the cool painting on the track for the Nürburgring 24H which starts in a little over two hours from now

At least here in the Netherlands a lot of them also don't treat the country they live in well, at all. Disproportionally high crime numbers, an incredibly low amount of literate people because 'fuck education', resulting in money being 'made' in a ton of different criminal ways, from bigger things like drugs dealing to relatively smaller things like selling newspapers while pretending to be homeless people (and so stealing this quite common form of actual homeless people making some money). With around 25-30% of Roma younger than 18 already having had contact with the police, against 2% against the entire rest of the country, that's not exactly something that shows they're integrating well or even give a damn about being treated completely the same (and there's no way that's mostly because of how they're treated).

Well it's only last year when he beat Dumoulin in a TT I mostly expect Pinot to have a better TT than Nibali Sunday because Pinot seems to be in really good shape and Nibali does not, while on equal shape I'd say Nibali has a slightly better chance. Still, they're all not really close to Dumoulin normally, although it's of course hard to say how a TT after 3 weeks of racing will be.

Personally I think there are 4 main candidates left for the win, possibly 6 if you count lesser candidates. I think their chances are somewhere like this: 1. Pinot - Good TT and he's definitely the best of the GC contenders on the climbs this week, problem is it wouldn't be the first time he actually choked 2. Dumoulin - Normally the best TT rider of the main candidates, although winning 2+ minutes again is highly unlikely. Problem is of course that there's 2 big climbs tomorrow, but on the bright side, today seems to have been more of a bad day than 'the start of a decline'. 3. Nibali - Seemed a bit stronger than Quintana on the climbs, but his time trials are often a bit....meh. 4. Quintana - Did not seem convincing at all today on the uphills, if he was any good he would've attacked way earlier instead of nearly dropping out at some point. Not a fantastic time trial neither. 5 and 6. Zakarin and Pozzovivo, they're in seriously good shape on the climbs and who knows, on a very good day they might pull off an upset tomorrow. Especially Zakarin can have a quite decent TT on a good day.

Nah, surely something will prevent the first Dutch GT victory since 10 years before I was born A fall today or tomorrow, a flat tyre tomorrow or something or otherwise a Rasmussen-like time trial on Sunday with a million flat tyres and falls and everything. A Menchov-like time trial would be ok: a fall on the final day, in the last corner while in the pink jersey, but getting back up in time to still win

Is this proof that it wasn't an Islamic terror attack in Manchester or something? Because these things didn't much happen in that case. Yeah, in the first hour there was no certainty about it being a terrorist attack, because in one hour you're not going to get 100% certainty about anything being a terrorist attack unless stuff is happening all over the place. The only publicly known thing after an hour was that something happened and there were injured people, it'd be weird to say it's definitely no terror attack but it'd be just as weird to say it's definitely a terror attack.
