I prefer no 4x200 relays, but if that's no option, then yes, 2 separate would definitely have my choice over a mixed. There is already an insane amount of mixed events in sports, it really doesn't need anymore. (I know there will be more, but it's not needed, at all)

I'd go for 50 - 100 - 400 - 1500 - 4x100 (NOT MIXED ) Then you've got a true sprint, an 'endurance sprint', a middle distance and a mostly endurance event.

50 - 100 - 200 - 400 - 800 - 1500 - 4x100 - 4x100 mixed - 4x200 is a ridiculous list of freestyle events, let's be honest.

Quarter final in the 500m sprint, that's not right...I mean, no way the difference between Jimenez and Bramante was 0,007 and the difference between Bramante and Mulder was bigger. 0,007 must be the difference between Bramante and Mulder, somehow they messed this up.
