I agree that a sub-4 pace should take away most of her chances, but the main problem is I doubt they'll go for a sub-4 pace...it's happened so often that fast athletes let good "sprinters" win by not running a high enough pace. Semenya's PB is slightly worrying btw, it's only 4:01 but she did so very soon after a fast 800 or 400 (not sure which) and while almost jogging... I'm a bit hopeful because in the 800m she has shown some signs of being remotely beatable, so who knows.
