Although yes, in general scheduling just sucked. Lack of morning sessions meant there were way too many track events (including heats) at night, leading to the field events being shown in a miserable way. Earlier today I heard a BBC commentator call this "maybe the best world championships ever", but I think he has been blind or something, because apart from the presence of a full stadium nearly every time I can't think of a single good thing about these world champs. - Live timing in long events was bad - Scheduling sucked - Field events were shown horribly poor - All walking events in one day I'm sure more things can be added to the list which I forgot now..

Is it late? I'd say 19.00 is a rather ok time actually...much better than the swimming world championships, where every finals session started at a time when a majority of people would either still be working or just finishing/getting back home.
