No Gabriela Koukalova in Östersund. She's still having too many problems with some muscles in her legs and will go to Finland for some extra training sessions to make up for the lost time this summer. The United Arab Emirates strangely still have not lost the right to organize international events, so we had this yesterday. Tal Flicker of Israel won the gold medal in his category. I mean, Tal Flicker of the international judo federation. It really is time to kick these events out of medievel countries that can't even simply hoist a flag and play an anthem when someone wins

That was one awesome game last night indeed No problem if Roberts loses, that dude is so freaking disgusting. I know almost all of those players have that disgusting spitting habit, but he does it even more than anyone else. Ugh. Grow up man.

Earlier this month I found out one of our paid sports channels has 2-3 live NHL games per week, so I like watching it, but half the time I completely lose sight of the puck and then the commentator goes like "he shoots, he scoooooores!" and I'm all confused like "huh wait, what? Where? Who? When?"

On the other hand, a lot of way more weird things have happened than what it would be if the Astros come back from 0-2. In the end there's a reason that bookmakers almost never have really high or low odds for one team: the chances are quite often somewhere within the 40/60 - 60/40 range, way more often than in many other sports. But yeah, it'll definitely help their cause if Verlander does another great job tonight.

Hard to know who to cheer for. I like the Dodgers because Jansen and Turner, but I like the Astros because Kuechel and they never won the World Series before. I'm just hoping for tense games and please, not a 4-0

It's not news anymore but it does deserve a mention: sadly no Severin Freund at the Olympics, bad luck just keeps haunting the poor guy and another massive injury has already cost him his season before it even started
