  1. Men's Basketball European EuroLeague 2017 - 2018 Continental Championship - 12 October 2017 - 20 May 2018 Totallympics Results Thread
  2. Shemshak, Emamzadeh Hashem and Dizin are the only other three places in Iran where FIS cross-country competitions have been held, but I have no idea if they are ski resorts of/near Tehran This is definitely the first one that's actually listed as Tehran (rollerskiing instead of XC, but still).
  3. Well, today's women's race is already cancelled because there's not enough competitors
  4. Four days, four races in the sports park of São Carlos, starting today So far Bruna is 12 out of 12 in her career for races in Brazil (still never been beaten), so let's keep that going today @MHSN First ever FIS races in Tehran this month, that's pretty cool
  5. It's time for anarchy. In other sports I might cheer for a Portuguese athlete, but never in my life will I cheer for the Portuguese football team (especially as long as crybaby Cristiano "I am the most awesome person ever, God himself should praise me" Ronaldo is playing)
  6. @MHSN What happened to the top Iranians/Iranian teams? I see the Tour of Iran is going on and suddenly Rob Ruijgh of all people has taken over the lead jersey after another Dutchman who's name I already forgot and who rides for an amateur team won the 1st stage http://www.procyclingstats.com/race/Tour_of_Iran_(Azarbaijan)_2017_Stage_4 I thought these were the races were some Iranians destroyed everyone and teams like Pishgaman (?) went on a full-team breakaway to take the first 6+ places
  7. Mirco Maestri of Bardiani and Onur Balkan of the Turkish team in the lead
  8. Oh and both Torku Sekerspor and Funvic/Soul Brasil Pro Cycling are in the race, so, yeah, you know...that's interesting
  9. Meanwhile the Tour of Turkey has started yesterday, probably by far the worst of all World Tour races in terms of organization and participation, but much like the Tour of Portugal it's always a fun race to see who magically destroys the field suddenly Just thinking back to the likes of Mustafa Sayar #NeverForget
  10. Excuse me, but did he just score a goal? My Spanish isn't good so I couldn't hear it This is why I most likely won't move to South America, it's impossible to watch sports without commentators like this I think (I mean, dude, tell me who made the goal, what it means etc, you know, be a commentator )
  11. Oh well, I doubt it but who knows it could be another sort of wake-up call to show that football is arguably the worst sport in the world in terms of 'going with the times'. It's of course inexcusable that stuff like video-referees and goal-line technology aren't 100% adopted in every major competition yet (not to even speak of simply stopping the clock, so those thousands of players who are suddenly nearly dying of pain when someone looks at them wrong and their team is leading won't actually 'win' free time anymore). Football can barely be taken seriously because of these simple things they just seem to refuse to adopt on a large scale.
  12. Oh wait, the discussion is about Panama's first goal. Yeah, that may seem about right
  13. Some Panamanian edited Roman Torres' Wiki page (the guy who made the 2-1)
  14. What is the doubt about Panama's goal here? I mean, apart from the commentator having a major orgasm, I don't really see/hear anything that would make it doubtful? He gets the ball and he scores, that's not unheard of in football
  15. While I was watching the South American qualifiers, the CONCACAF one's went from USA play-offs, Honduras out, Panama in, to Honduras in, USA out, Panama play-offs etc, and when I woke up, it was USA out, Honduras play-offs and Panama in, awesome
  16. Yeah.....no, that's not gonna happen, trust me We'd rather support the Germans than the Portuguese after the last 13 years
  17. Pretty bad news for us that Robben announced his retirement from the Dutch team, without him I doubt we can even qualify for a World Cup/European championship. Oh wait.
  18. I'm not even gonna start at that without a calculator
  19. You mean if Mexico makes it to the semi-finals as well like the Netherlands did two times in a row? I mean, one can't go all 'ha, look at us being good' if you don't make it to the last four
  20. Actually even some minutes ago I saw people crying about #NoEraPenal on Twitter I mean, get over it
  21. 'hitting' as in, kicking the ball in such a way that the ball touched the toe of Casillas, preventing the 1-0 One of the worst moments ever in our football history Well, combined with Rob Rensenbrink hitting the post in the extra time of the 1978 World Cup final when it was 1-1..
  22. Bye Robben, thanks for a whole lot of good stuff, two goals in the last match and two fantastic World Cups (And for hitting Casillas' toe in the World Cup final for fucks sake )
  23. Oh well, terrible play plus terrible luck for us (Lloris with an insane 93rd minute blunder to give Sweden a 2-1 win, a 100% goal from Dost being denied by the cheater referees against Sweden, Luxembourg that didn't even try against Sweden with their goalkeeper suddenly looking like a 11-year old instead of the hero he was against France, etc.) Better play and better luck next time
  24. Yeah we're close That 2nd goal though, dear lord that was a real missile by Robben
  25. And bye bye Syria - USA play-off
