  1. I don't know how it works but count me in
  2. The reason why most people don't care anymore is mostly because a ton of countries are proven to have a million dopers. As long as countries like Morocco or UAE can organize events (and even force Israeli athletes not to show their flag), USA can too
  3. Plus a 2nd round 2018 draft pick from Nashville to Colorado
  4. Including a million players and draft picks and everything. Man, I'm trying to write something about this on a Dutch website (because come on, getting traded and leaving the team during the match, that's something ) but this is complicated to figure out
  5. WTF, Matt Duchene of the Colorado Avalanche got traded to the Ottawa Senators.....during last night's game, meaning he got off halfway through the first period and went on his way to Ottawa (who will play the Avs in their next two games) http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/matt-duchene-trade-strange-get-pulled-mid-game/
  6. Oh I forgot they started early today, 28 minutes in so I think Van der Poel has lapped everyone by now?
  7. Did anyone watch UFC 217 last night? That was one epic night with three fantastic title fights Rose Namajunas delivering champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk her very first loss in a spectacular fasion TJ Dillashaw destroying champion Cody Garbrandt George St-Pierre coming back after 4 years and in a historic fight teaching Michael Bisping a seriously hard lesson
  8. Interestingly, bookmakers already give Germany and especially Switzerland a much higher chance to win than Slovakia, I thought Slovakia would be higher
  9. Thanks. Very interesting to keep an eye on this, it might be something the bookmakers get wrong which gives 'us' the opportunity for some financial gain
  10. Peruvian XC skier got 394 FIS points yesterday, might be worth a bit of attention to see if he closes in on 300 in the next weeks https://data.fis-ski.com/dynamic/results.html?sector=CC&raceid=30755
  11. You mean after Ecuador and Malaysia?
  12. Which is why ISU rules suck, because that was nothing out of the ordinary at all Lollobrigida tried to take her place in an all-or-nothing move, Schouten didn't let her do that, simple as that, it's part of mass start skating. If you're a skater who can't handle that, go do the single distances
  13. So they'll get wildcards I suppose?
  14. Which countries would benefit from the KHL not sending their players? I mean, I thought in general the NHL being assholes was bad for Canada and USA mostly, but surely the KHL being assholes as well is bad for Russia, Slovakia and others, meaning it'd be good for other nations? Without NHL and KHL, would the 2nd-level players in North America suddenly be the best again? Or players from Scandinavian countries or something?
  15. Live stream of race 3 of the Dutch Marathon Cup, for those interested. 30 of 125 laps to go, so if you want to see how a mass start should actually be instead of that children's race they call mass start in the World Cup and Olympics, watch
  16. Honestly, I have absolutely 0,0 idea which countries to expect points from and which countries to expect nothing from. As always
  17. This is definitely alright for under 18 as well, it's just a picture of a brontosaurus If this was on South Park when I was 12, it would probably have ended up on my playlist forever
  18. By the way, GBR ever entering with this song would get my 12 points without any form of doubt. There are two things in the entire world that make my dad cry (of pure laughter) and this is one of them, which eventually lead to me somehow finding this absolutely hilarious as well I am well aware of this being rather old-fashioned and somewhat stupid, but boy, just thinking about this song and I start giggling already
  19. I'm not sure it's my number 1 favourite, but it's really, really high up on my list as well Also because the melody and everything all sound so joyful "Everybody has a happy glow, lets dance in blood and pretend its snow"
  20. Yes! Noone tries getting me off meat and remains liked by me
  21. 'Merry Fucking Christmas' was actually one of my favourite songs ever when I was like 11, long before I had any idea what South Park was (I only discovered South Park a few years later and only then realized that song came from South Park )
  22. Talking about guilty pleasures, lately I've been listening to Mr Hankey's Christmas Classics "Dead, dead, dead" is one of the most depressing Christmas songs ever (mostly talking about how one day you and everyone you've ever known will be dead anyway), but on the other hand it actually has kind of a good message ("enjoy life and the people close to you while you can, because someday you/they will be dead") I can sing (or at least in my mind ) numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 plus Christmas Time in Hell, which I hadn't heard for many years until some weeks ago
  23. I do remember (sort of) which song I gave the lowest note I ever gave to any TO(I)SC song, which was not necessarily about the music itself, but 80% lyrics/message, 20% music Not sure exactly which song it was or from which country but I'm pretty sure it was Eastern European.
  24. No. Fight, fight, fight! But, with love. So, let's fighting love!
  25. Looking at our current Top 40, there are plenty of songs that may not be my taste, but are very far from the "fuck these bitches and fuck more bitches and get rich"-kind of 'songs' we both probably hate Probably not different than when young people liked Dire Straits or Queen or something (and the older people in that time thought "ugh"). https://www.top40.nl/top40
