  1. As long as you recognize El Salvador's flag right next to it.
  2. That's like what, 4 missed finals or something? Not a big sample
  3. Personally I'm jealous of the women's sprint (biathlon), the bobsleigh runs, the biathlon relays and mass starts and pursuits and the boardercross and alpine skiing giant slalom and the ski jumping
  4. Aaaaaand that's the end of @hckosice on Totallympics since he most likely logged out forever because of jealousness
  5. And McGeeney takes the win. Damn, 4 quarter finals today and 3 of them really went against my wish, the other one sort of but I liked boh Veenstra and Unterbuchner, so that's alright.
  6. Warren with 120 for the match....T20 and then....D2 McGeeney picked up the chance and made it 4-4, meaning all four quarter finals will have been decided after the maximum of 9 sets
  7. Lakeside is starting to be a really good tournament this year. Scott Waites and Glen Durrant escaped against Andy Baetens and Jim Williams in today's quarter finals, both were very exciting matches, too bad both matches were lost by the player I preferred to win Then tonight, one of the surprises of the tournament, German debutant Michael Unterbuchner, beat Dutchman Richard Veenstra in yet another deciding set (just like the first two quarters). Now Welshman Wayne Warren is playing absolutely brilliantly against Mark McGeeney, BDO's number one ranked player and the number two seed, I hope Wayne and his beautifully natural style keep this up and get to the semi's
  8. Waaaait a minute, podium for Dekker?
  9. Usually when I watch, not much happens, indeed. I usually have the 'luck' to end up watching a match with maybe 5-10 somewhat serious goal attempts and 1 or 2 goals and that's it Of course there's always exceptions, like in any sport.
  10. Personally I would put tennis but especially swimming much higher on the boring list, cricket even higher, and darts way lower (as in more exciting) And football much much higher. Then again, it all depends on the matches and competitions, there's plenty of athletics races which suuuucked, but also plenty of American football matches which were utterly amazing (I saw 3 matches in the past three weeks and both were ridiculously exciting).
  11. Coming from a very well-informed source when it comes to Olympic history:
  12. The Netherlands will start on my birthday
  13. Ah, nope Although on a forum when someone asked what Belgium needs to qualify a relay, I answered 'a time machine', since the qualification for relays was over. Now the commentator said something different on TV
  14. I actually don't
  15. Ah, so he was wrong? Alright, good to know I wasn't wrong
  16. According to our commentator, there's still a chance Belgium can send a relay to the Olympics? I thought all relay sports were already decided.
  17. Dude, 3rd place....accept it
  18. Come on, these fans are creating too much noise for a competition. Cancel it and take these results, Slovakia on the podium
  19. All of Trikhichev's top-30 results in 60 World Cup starts: And now a podium
  20. I don't mind making wrong choices with bets, I do find it incredibly frustrating when I miss stuff/money because I was a minute too late after watching a series for a minute too long
  21. Come on, someone beat Muffat-Jeandet please, I was a minute or so too late to place a bet at him to win this morning....at odds of around 40...
  22. The places where it says 'qualifier' will be replaced with the names of the qualifiers once the qualification is over, I suppose? Then I'll wait with my predictions
  23. Even though in luge there seems to be a bigger home advantage in World Cups every now and then.
  24. I've only taken a quick look at the last 20 years or so and already saw a couple of events come pretty close (in swimming and diving for example), I'd say it's likely that it has happened before after WW2
  25. And yet there's still people who dare say Dukurs is the favourite for gold (which was a weird thing to say before this season, now it's just insane)
