    Won won (the B group) The 195kg CJ is a new WR by the way. With his total of 348kg he'd have placed/equalled 3rd at last year's world champs in 77kg (this is 73)...to add to how sad last year's world champs were in terms of level

    Alejandro Valverde won the Saitama Criterium, beating fellow attackers Geraint Thomas and Yukiya Arashiro. Surely it was purely coincidence that the world champion, Tour de France winner (in his yellow jersey) and main Japanese hero ended up forming the deciding breakaway together
