  1. Well, if we are not out before the last lap. It can easely happen.
  2. Norway is the biggest favorite for the men's relay. France doesn't have Norway's depth.
  3. Such a tense last lap. I really believed Marie could make it. Conhrats to Norway and Olsbu. Oh well, 9th medal in 8 races. Not bad Edit: Dahlmeier looks like she is toasted.
  4. Rowlandson Krou If only they could reach the quarter finals. Just one match
  5. It's allready our best WC ever. And still 4 races to go
  6. A couple of preliminary points: - Could you stop talking to people like they are some retarded children ? - This is not the place to have this discussion. Our messages should probably be moved to the doping thread. To the point: You are actually completly missing it. I don't deffend these athletes as clean, or don't say France doesn't have a doping problem. What I'm saying is taking these few exemples to conclude than France has a deeper doping problem than neighbouring countries is absurd Because of Baugé no show four years ago or Livio's horse, you can't simply conclude that Mare Dorin is a doper and Laura Dahlmeier is not. It doesn't make any sense. This is not a logical conclusion, but simply prejudice. There are thousands of athlets around the world the caliber of Moulinet, Bigot or Baugé and they all are getting controlled every year, yet, the vast majority of dopers (someone like Cindy Billaud who is an obvious case for exemple) are never getting caught The efficiency of each doping control is very small. thus, these few exemples, statistically, mean nothing. To conclude that a nation have more of a doping problem than an other one, you will probably need dozens, if not hundreds of similar cases (like in Russia's exemple). We do have a doping problem, Germany, also has one. Everybody does. And there is not anywhere enough evidence to conclude than we have a bigger one than say Germany or UK, or that french biathlon is more proned to doping than german's one.
  7. He played the three russian winning sets (rested during the first - lost - one), scoring 17 points. Quite influent, I'd say.
  8. Nah, you don't understand, it's a "disgusting" performance because of Gregory Baugé no show four years ago (makes total sense, trust me). If only, we had a good old russian/italian/ukranian/whaterver "clean" performance to save the day.
  9. Even for the FIVB, option 2 is too ridiculous to be agreed.
  10. Ok, then it's either nothing or Russia out of Rio. So, really, it means that nothing will happen.
  11. Do we know if he was caught after the semi or the final ? If the latter, FIVB could simply decide on Russia's forfet for the final only. Meaning that Russia would still have a great chance to qualifie for Rio and the FIVB could keep on pretending they care about anti-doping.
  12. According to l'Equipe, Markin was only controlled twice during te Olympic Qualification Tournament. According to FIVB new rules, it could mean that Russia might end up dsiqualified. But, hey, it's the FIVB and Russia, so I assume they will find a trick not to follow their own rules.
  13. http://www.wired.com/2016/03/meldonium-became-doping-drug-choice/ "It's weird" . Euphemism of the year.
  14. The new one, by a mile. The new software makes it 1000x (literally, I've counted, trust me) better than the previous one. Mandatory results were always a big annoyance which serve little to no purpose (I've little memory, but no the point to forget the results of the race I've watched just 5 minutes ago).
  15. Honnestly, they deserved it. Ok, maybe not the hate (if it really came to 'hate'), but at least to be mocked. That game against Croatia was the biggest choking I've ever witnessed
  16. Poor Nordic combined, even figure skating managed to score a couple of points As far as I'm concerned: 1. Ice Hockey 2. Biathlon 3. Alpine Skiing
  17. There was no insult in my previous message ("yeah, right" is not an insult, jeez, calm down) You have a great memory, I'll give you that. Yet, that's hardly making for a very conclusive list. You have two "no show" athletes (the two only heavy weights on your list), two second tier athletes and one horse over two or three years. Beaware Russia, we are comming. You'll easily find a list of doping cases from other euro countries that tops the list you gave me for France (Ballan, Schwazer, Cunego, Ulissi for Italy for exemple). But that's beyond the point. France doesn't have more (or less) of a doping problem that other western european countries (with probably the exception of Spain), and you'll need much, much more evidence that Baugé and Tamgho no shows to prove otherwise. If anything, because athletes getting caught only mean they are too stupid (or too poor) to have been caught in the first place. A athlete (or a nation) not been caught is not a proof of cleaness
  18. You don't want France to win any medal becauses of the "many doping cases in different sports", but you hope for a Russian to win a medal... Yeah, right... And what do you mean by "many doping cases in different sports" anyway ? A bunch of cases in athletics (still a shit load less than Wierer's Italy for instance) and a few here and there, including no show violations and none beeing biathlon related or even winter sports related ? Welcome back anyway (even with the same silly arguments )
  19. That country wich is not Slovenia ?
  20. Not a bad start
  21. Great, great race so far

  23. It's much, much better.
