  1. Well. Less than a month ago it was american politicians calling it a leak from Wuhan biological laboratory. Doesn't help the slightest, but it has been going both ways (even saw the idea of it being american back when it was still pretty much only in China) It's sad that some people use it for political purpose, but some things never change.
  2. Hotel rooms in Copenhagen that were booked by UEFA are free now. Guess that's pretty close to a confirmation?
  3. I've only seen a single comment about some small-scale testing in Hong Kong (I believe) where it was said that some showed 20-30 % decrease in lung capacity. But I think it would be too early to say anything certain. Could be short-term.
  4. If we were to make a list of famous people who has tested positive, it would get very long already
  5. Can't talk about the song or the singing, but personally I like the singing. We're slowly starting in Denmark singing a one of the classic spring songs. So far I've only seen videos with a few singing, but it may grow. We did have something playing a recorded version with a pretty strong speaker in our area meaning that you couldn't really hear anybody sing. But it did get some attention.
  6. Didn't need more. Suspended after the evening session https://www.boxingroadtotokyolondon.org/ioc-boxing-task-force-suspends-european-qualifier-in-london-and-all-remaining-events-until-may?fbclid=IwAR1t0ig5OGP9IkexOoZelyvgrDsKl_9TjCbQpyhssujjaToVGw-1LOTHY68
  7. Let the farce begin. The Danish boxers will go home to Denmark! Hope others will follow and show how irresponsible it has been!
  8. And after the latest press meeting, people start speculating whether we'll see a curfew in a day or two (the minister did mention irresponsible people not taking the situation seriously a couple of times). Not so sure it'll happen but I guess I'll go for a long run tomorrow, just in case it'll be the last for some time
  9. The minister of health makes it sound like we have not really changed our way of testing. About 600 tests done each day, but new tests are prepared that will add capacity. Slightly surprising news! But we have 62 hospitalized at the moment, 10 are more or less critical.
  10. Oslo University Hospital will be under pressure the next weeks as 1081 employees are quarantined due to eithe contact with an infected or after having been on vacation. 14 have tested positive. No details though. The hospital has about 23.000 employees in total.
  11. The rest of the qualifiers will be behind closed doors.
  12. Can't really say anything but good question! I believe it's only rankings right now and guess they're still hoping to be able to have the worlds.
  13. Sadly it's pretty much all hands on deck to prepare for what is coming. It's simply not set up to test every single person showing symptoms. Hard to say if that has been the right decision (or if it had even been possible in the situation to put up a major testing operation). It is a discussion happening as well to set up some tests to get a beter idea of how many are infected, but I feel unsure that will happen. Fingers crossed that it's nothing bad, @Wumo
  14. North Korea? My experience tells me that Madagascar is the place to go in case of pandemy! But well: , ... Maybe not take over the world, but the same as the last few days (without watching badminton)
  15. Wouldn't it be better if some are infected at an early stage with the least pressure? Then those could be cured when/if shit hits the fan.
  16. UCI has proposed to the IOC to stop the qualification in Mountain Bike, BMX (racing and freestyle) and para-cycling as of march 3rd.

  18. Man. Using the 2019 would be tough for us But I wouldn't be surprised if others will end up doing the same. At least I hope they'll change in case the Olympics are postponed.
  19. Don't know if I would say ignored. They just have another way of dealing with it. Whether it's the right way is questionable, but we'll see.
  20. Let's not make too much out of that. Did read through the thread. I would still say that everybody should be quarantined to be cautious, but lets not judge them too quickly, just for a bit of coughing. That's afterall not that unusual when doing physical activities (I did at least do it a few times after my run yesterday).
  21. Fingers crossed that you're getting very close to the top, though it is indeed very worrying to hear that it's moving south. The slightly positive is the high amount of recoveries though it's not much of a comfort.
  22. That's numbers comparable to the highs in China
  23. Do you have a source on it? Haven't been able to find anything, but I haven't been watching the last couple of hours of the early session.
