    First time ever in Olympic ice hockey and we make it 2 teams! We got our biggest squad ever by qualifying the men. This will be a massive squad by Danish standards!

    Pretty good, but I didn't quite manage to lose the feeling that I should have read the book before.

    Wouldn't be surprised if he's selected to be able to make the 2nd and 3rd singles stronger. They'll need a surprise in the doubles to take the total win, but if Shi Yuqi isn't selected, China will be very weak in the 2nd and 3rd singles.

    Not a new issue. He has pretty severe asthma and also had COVID for a period. It's not unusual seeing him "give up" the 2nd game to regain energy for the 3rd. Therefore the match was pretty much lost when losing the 1st. Sadly Christie just made it work out at the right time (he hasn't been too impressive through the tournament)

    It certainly isn't! Denmark is going for the experience meaning it's HK Vittinghus for the 3rd singles. A bit of a surprise!

    Sadly I won't be there for the rest of the event.

    So happy to see Søgaard succeed. He has been through so much injuries. Maybe they should consider giving that doubles a chance (they both focus on mixed)

    That MD between Indonesia and Malaysia is awesome!

    White with red stripes. But the Malaysian fans moved away. Apparently they weren't at their right seats.

    I case you're watching, I'm the Dane just behind the Malaysian fans.

    Just my luck. I have a brilliant seat for the match on court 2, but Denmark is on court 1. Saturday it was the other way around.

    He certainly doesn't seem to be back at his high level after the accident and COVID.

    The 2013 archery world champion, Maja Jager, has announced that she will retire as an archer. She also competed at the 2012 and 2020 Olympics.

    Only 3 countries have a stronger 2nd singles. Chou Tien-chen has however always been a bit overrated. He's good but struggles against most top singles.

    Man, Chi will be kicking himself for that serve error at 19-19!

    Easily? Really? They played a damn close game against the world's no. 94 from Thailand. How the heck would the world's no. 3 be easy? Neither will the MD2 be. Indonesia should win 3rd singles, but nothing's easy in this match!

    It could very well come down to the 2nd doubles but can absolutely win the 1st doubles or 2nd singles (though Christie didn't look good against Thailand)

    But Thailand lost 3-2 against Indonesia. Meaning that if Taiwan wins by 3-2 they'll be all tied in matches won making it all about the number of games (I believe). And Thailand should certainly win 5-0 (10-0 in games) against Algeria.

    That group has really been the highlight of the group stages! Two brilliant matches so far and this last one could end up as another thriller!

    That certainly was quite a match! Even got to the arena before it was done. Great atmosphere for the Danish match while the others were a bit anticlimactic. But that's the group stages for you and sadly we don't have much Asian spectators Heartbreaking watching the women's doubles between Japan and France. Everybody could hear Palermo cry and it took way too long before they got a wheelchair for her!

    Anyone following the Thomas & Uber Cup that has just started today here in Aarhus? Personally I'll be in the arena for the next 2 sessions today (couldn't get myself up for the 1st session) and friday's Thomas Cup quarter finals and Uber cup semis.
