  1. Sure (though I would only say that 3 in the current top 20 are pretty sure not to be there after the Alps (Van Avermaet, Gilbert and Kragh)) That's what's so impressive about this year's tour. No doubt that we'll see bigger differences and some will advance while others will lose the race though. I'm just sad that I'll miss the next stages
  2. 3. Considering that it starts today, he can't Jokes aside. I don't really agree that it starts today. Back in the days where it was pretty much just a prologue and some boring flat stages before the mountains (and maybe a TTT), I could agree that the mountains were the real start, but looking at what we've seen so far, I would say that it has been on for quite some time. The weather didn't really help making some big differences on the cobbles, but those and also some hilly stages with decent potential. We have afterall seen the GC riders fighting on at least Mur de Bretagne and the cobbles.
  4. Richie Porte and co. will be sorry that they didn't even participate in the Tour
  5. Reminds me very much of stage 17 in 2009 where I was at Colombiere for the battle between the two Schlecks and Contador. A very interesting mountain starter
  6. The lasers are ready for action
  7. Democratic socialism is working fine here in Northern Europe (at least that's what people call it in America). But I don't think it would work out quite as good on a national level in the US. Much of it would work better in single states.
  8. Jonas Eriksson calls it a 50/50 situation and therefore feels that VAR shouldn't have been used.
  9. Looking forward to hearing what you think about the looks of my local city.
  10. Finally a record for Denmark. Well done, Anna!
  11. Quick Step did create a bit in the wing, which is pretty much the reason that it's just a strong candidate.
  12. Today is a strong candidate for most boring stage I've ever watched...
  13. 14. Just yesterday Brian Holm was asked if it wouldn't be a good idea to send a rider into the break to force other teams to do the work in the pack. Maybe he was inspired
  15. Weird that Birdie or at least Astana didn't get some punishment. The commentators felt sure that they would get fined while it happened, but apparently not even that happened.
  16. Doesn't look like it. Even Danish media think it's weird
  17. Danish commentator calling India Indonesia
  18. Never really heard it mentioned as that... But I remember that it was discussed whether a 4th Grand Tour should be made in the US, @Olympian1010. Never happened, though
  19. Pretty much like "The Danish Girl", where this is Vejle Fjord:
