  2. and a few more National Champions have been crown in the past few days around Europe (and not only)... British EIHL: the strange system adopted in GBR crowned the Belfast Giants as the League Champions after winning the Regular Season, leaving the Cardiff Devils the (relatively) small consolation of being the "Playoffs Champions", which means that in every other Country they'd be the National Champions, but not in GBR... http://www.eurohockey.com/article/5371-belfast-giants-become-2018-2019-league-champions.html http://www.eurohockey.com/article/5375-cardiff-win-eihl-play-off-final.html Kazakhstan's Premier League: Beybaris Atyrau back on top... http://www.eurohockey.com/article/5374-beybarys-back-to-the-throne.html Ukranian Hockey League: Donbas Donetsk win 4th consecutive title... http://www.eurohockey.com/article/5376-donbas-continues-the-dynasty.html Norway's Get-Ligaen: Frisk Asker, despite ending up the regular season only in 5th place, had an amazing playoff run, where they reached the Finals and once there, they dethroned the defending champions Storhamar and won their 3rd title overall (first since 2002)... 4. HC ‘05 iClinic Banská Bystrica are once again Slovak Champions... they just won game #5 of the Final Series against HK Nitra by a score of 6-2 and the whole series by a score of 4-1... hopefully, our friend @hckosice will have more about that in the next hours...
  5. no, there were already all the sessions (it was enough to click on the single daily slots)... the only difference is that now you open a new page with text information, meanwhile before it was just a small popup window...
  6. this is just an example (you can find a lot of videos on YT)...
  7. p.s. I read in the Italian news that e-sports also have been dropped... if that's true, it means that we still have someone capable of using his brain...that's encouraging!
  8. not even to be mentioned...Colomba all the way... that's for what concerns the "dessert" category, of course... other foods...no, I've never followed any particular tradition (except maybe that I always try to avoid meat on Easter Friday)...
  9. really? It's already out since almost 1 year...July 18th, 2018 to be precise... and I don't see any major change since then...
  10. and finally, a quick update on the leagues in the middle of a playoff round... in the Austrian EBEL, Vienna Capitals won game #1 of the Finals by a score of 3-2 (OT) vs KAC Klagenfurt...the second match of the series will be played tonight in Klagenfurt (h.19.15 CET)... this match is live and (should be) free for all here: https://www.servushockeynight.com/live in the Swiss NLA, tonight's the time for game #3 of the Finals between SC Bern and EV Zug (currently tied at 1-1)...the game will be played in the Swiss capital @ 8 p.m. CET to watch this match, a good VPN is mandatory... and this is the right place to watch (it's the Italian speaking website, but on top of it -on the right side- you can switch to the other Swiss official languages websites)... https://www.rsi.ch/play/tv in the German DEL, the Red Bull Munich will host the Augsburger Panther in the decisive game #7 of the semifinals (first puck drop @ 7.15 p.m. CET), with Adler Mannheim waiting to nknow who's gonna face them in the Finals...this match will be live and free for all on Satellite TV, Tv channel Sport1 DE (Sat Astra @ 19.2° East), the live streaming (HERE) is only available in GER, AUT and SUI, but a good VPN will surely do the job also for the fans from other Countries... and also in the Danish Metalligaen, tonight's the time for game #3 of the playoffs Finals...Rungsted, after winning the first 2 matches, will host SønderjyskE (first puck drop @ 8.30 p.m. CET) in the best-of-7 match up... to watch this game you have to search for a TV2 Sport streaming (the official one unfortunately is not free for all, a subscription is needed)...
  11. Finnish Liiga there's always not much time to rest in the Liiga...they really have a packed schedule in their playoffs... and thanks to this, despite starting last, they are already arrived to the playoffs Finals... and finally, here we have a league where the regular season's 1-2 won't be repeated in the final act... in fact, if Kärpät Oulu (RS winners) matched all the expectations and made it through to the Finals, Tappara Tampere (2nd in the RS) were upset in the semifinals by HPK Hämeenlinna in 6 games... Semifinals Recap Kärpät Oulu b. HIFK Helsinki 4-2 (3-2OT; 2-3; 3-0; 0-2; 2-1OT; 3-0) HPK Hämeenlinna b. Tappara tampere 4-2 (0-1; 4-1; 2-3OT; 2-1OT; 3-2; 4-3) the Finals (best-of-7 series) are scheduled to start next Saturday, April 20th in Oulu (game #1 puck drop @ 5 p.m. local time, 4 p.m. CET)
  12. Czech Extraliga also in the Czech republic the season's end is approaching and now we're finally down to the final act, the Championship series... at the end of the RS we had Bìlì Tygřy Liberec on top of the standings, followed by Ocelàři Třinec...and now those 2 teams are also ready to fight for the title in the playoffs Finals... but their run to the last act of the season wasn't so easy, as in the semis it took 6 games to Liberec and 7 games to Třinec to reach that stage... Semifinals Recap Bìlì Tygřy Liberec b. HC Kometa Brno 4-2 (4-3OT; 2-3OT; 2-1; 2-3OT; 5-2; 3-1) HC Ocelàři Třinec b. HC Škoda Plzeň 4-3 (1-4; 2-3; 3-2; 4-3; 3-2; 1-3; 5-1) the Finals (best-of-7 series) are scheduled to start next Thursday, April 18th on Liberec's home ice (first puck drop always at 5 p.m. CET)...
  13. KHL, Gagarin Cup Finals not much to say about game #3, which definitely it wasn't one of the most exciting of the KHL playoffs so far... it was a very tight match from beginning to the end, with Avangard really focused on not givin'up any scoring chance to the charging home team and trying once every while to build something by themselves, but without being a real threat for Sorokin's net... therefore it was all down to an episode, which happened late in the game, with only less than 7 minutes still on the clock... at that time, there was a scrum in front of Avangard's net and Konstantin Okulov was able to find a hole and take a shot on goal...and here comes the help of the Gods of Hockey, as the puck hits the crossbar and then has an unlucky rebound on Bobkov's leg before ending up into the cage... the game was basically over in that exact moment...then Avangard tried a desperate move, playing without their goalie but that only led CSKA to score 2 more goals... CSKA finally won game #2 by a score of 3-0 and therefore they also lead the series 2-0... game #3 is scheduled for Tomorrow, Wednesday April 17th in Balashikha, the temporary home for Avangard (7.30 p.m. local time, 6.30 p.m. CET)... game #2 full stats https://en.khl.ru/game/674/81668/protocol/ game #2 highlights

  22. nooooooo!!!! it's a robbery! it's the usual plot! it's the usual US arrogance having the better of Santa's naivety! give us Christmas back as it once was!
  23. I only hope it's gonna be the second most disappointing finale ever (Lost's farce is actually unbeatable, whatever they do)... without making any consideration on the quality of that (tbh, I've never watched it, so i can't say anything about it), I just can't stand anymore the hype they created around a "normal" tv series, as if it's something really serious...
