    I'm surprised people here haven't talked more about these weird repechage rounds they've come up with.. They should have at least tested them in another Championship to see how it goes and not just directly insert them at the Olympics. The people below the top athletes are already behind them in performance, without forcing them to have an extra run, while the big names further relax for the 1/2.

    We will get in someday. Just depends if it will be sooner through the boxing, or will have to wait for the endgame trifecta of wrestling, weightlifting and gymnastics.

    Guess the orange shoes are the magical ones. When i see most of the starters having such, the picture is very clear.

    No Natalia Kaczmarek in the relay, i'm disappointed Not that Poland would need her in the heats, but i just want to see her in action.

    Riner is just phenomenal It's unbelievable how France had to wait until him and the final individual event to get a Gold medal.

    Unlike the pool, the athletics track is supposedly one of the fastest for a big Championship. Add the new breakthrough technology in making the shoes and we can expect to get a completely (fair) outstanding performances here.

    What a match that was between and Holland Carol & Barbara just edge it out 19-17 in the third. Fantastic match.

    Yes, i have Axelsen going over Shi Yuqi if they meet in the final. Even Antonsen could give him a run for his money in the 1/2. I think the Danes are a bit awkward opponents for him. Women's singles is of course far from certain, but if i had to choose which one China could win, i would pick the women.

    China have come much more prepared this time in badminton. After winning only 2 events in the past two Olympics, now they could get 3, even 4. Only the men's singles is out of their reach for me.

    It's been happening for a while, but South Korea in archery has become, what China is in diving or table tennis. If they lose an event it must be a blue moon or something else happening in the universe.

    Disappointed we couldn't even make 1 final here. Kostadinova didn't make it for only 2 shots and finishes 11th, but we know in shooting, that is a difference. The bad start cost her once again. On the other hand, Manu Bhaker

    Ah yes, the IOC and it's "Every person has the right to practice sports..." , unless those people are from countries X, Y, Z, then they don't have the right to practice sports

    I think the Tokyo schedule was more balanced hourly, than the Paris one. It was passable so far, but with the arrival of athletics tomorrow, things are getting messed up. Don't know who's bright idea was to have both swimming and athletics evening sessions at the same time.. Even during the day, there are specific hours, where things pile-up and then some with a lighter schedule.

    Lol, ok buddy, everyone is out to the get the Americans. The only hatred i have is for the mass hyperbolization, that occurs from people, whose knowledge is only from the past 10 years and don't care for any sporting history and everything present is the best ever, anytime, anywhere, in the Galaxy...

    And whether or not she is the GOAT is an opinion combining a wide range of characteristics, than X number of medals, won in dubious opposition and routines. You can go back to Twitter, where i'm sure the "objective" parade is floundering.
