    Technical question, but why isn't the most inside ring an 11 ? It seems stupid, if you are inside or outside of the ring to be both a 10 and not be an advantage if you hit it maximum to the center.

    Vekic just beat Gauff and that is another American hope slashed, after Pegula last night. Good news for them is that Collins and Navarro are making it past this round. Donna looks very emotional again. Don't know when she is not, is she loses, she is emotional, if she wins she is emotional. (good thing i'm not a Eurosport commentator)

    Nerve-wracking match for Petrova, but crisis averted. Very good footwork against a dangerous opponent from , who won bronze in Tokyo. Still the performance wasn't as smooth, as one would have hoped for. Petrova has come with big ambitious ever since Rio 2016 and never manage to achieve them with early loses, so i was fearing the same fate.

    Australia beating Serbia seems like a big surprise, no? Only scoring 3 goals is very strange as well for such a team.

    The Stoevi sisters officially make the 1/4 after today win over . Could have even won against the pair in the group, but didn't have energy in the last part of the 3rd set. We will see, what the draw will be, but the goals have been achieved.

    First or second no. Best case scenario for is third, which will be a huge achievement, because it will mean 20+ gold medals.

    Rigney with an easy win and looks like the clear favorite for the gold in the W single skulls. 3rd place for Angelova and she makes it to the 1/2, but i think this will be her max. The gap between her and the top 2 in this 1/2 was substantial.

    Schedule finally cleared for me to watch some rugby again. And i'm kicking myself, because the France - Canada match is awesome and i presume some of the past were as well.
