Ofcourse it is hockey, we have national team here in Slovenia.

BTW, there were only 17 new cases today. (least since March 18th)

In Slovenia, we are getting better and better each day. After we came in 20th place in the world, according to confirmed cases, three weeks ago, we are now around 70th place (1205 cases / 52 deaths). We are still limited only to life inside our own county, but luckily I live on the countryside, therefore I can walk and run a lot.

Well, that was entertaining. Congratulations to Canada for win, China and France for finishing on podium, and to all others, who sent very good songs. Thank you all, who recognised our song nad gave it a point or two. I am guessing we are among the Belgium Biathlon Award nominees. @dcro well done for all the work you put in, just one small correction, Luka from 2Cellos is Slovenian, born in Maribor. I will publish my standard stats in the next days, this day belongs to Official Closing Ceremony. Just a few fun facts in the end: - so far only 2 times (out of 14) Slovenia awarded 12 points to the actual winner (Human in 2017 and Liquid Lunch in Open 2019) - as far as I know this is 7th time, when actual winner did not get any point from our jury (and third time best two countries did not get any) - about transparency of votes, and are the only countries having won 12 pts twice on our behalf, other countries receiving "douze points" are: , , , , , , , , , So, songs matter, not a country itself. First of all, thank you so much to @dezbee2008 and @Olympian1010 for 12 points. This is really first time ever Slovenia lead the competition, even though only for 2 voting turns. @hckosice, as Greta would say, how dare you? This is our time to shine with "douze points", not yours. Thank you so much also to Australia and ofcourse Lithuania, which never dissapoints. So far, I am quite pleased, with points distribution, and also, how intriguing it is near the top.

Our guys and girls took a lot of medal, and even TV production was Slovenian. ?

Our national TV dedicated this week to show Junior Worlds in Ski Jumping from Oberwiesenthal, so a bit of jumping still in April. ?

The only sensible and fair choice. I will be able to continue my consecutive visit streak, so in December my 24th and in March my 25th consecutive Planica festival ??

OLYMPIC FOCUS I will try to go through all previous performances and to find out, what the future brings, if particular sport will have representatives in Tokio. PART 19 Field Hockey Field Hockey is one of those sports, in which Slovenia never came even close to qualify for Qlympics. In our country there are currently only three active teams, all from North Eastern part. Main cause is due to conditions, apart from Lipovci, Predanovci and Moravske Toplice other towns don't have artificial grass court. Interestingly enough, in our land there is still official name for this sport "Hokej na travi", which means "Grass Hockey", though it is very rarely played on grass. Slovenia National Team played last season in lowest tier of EuroHockey Challenge, where they finished last, that means 29th in Europe. In 2009, team competed in second tier, which was biggest success so far. Currently, there are 90 nations on FIH World Rankings, Slovenia is ranked 72nd. Women are on 48th place among 75 teams.

There is very good discipline in Slovenia, as far as I know. So far, we have 584 cases and 9 deaths, but all among those elderly with other diseases as well. I am only going for a weekly run on 5k and maybe one walk in nature (luckily I don't live in city), other than that we are mostly all staying at home.
