  1. Hey, why does it says WCH will be in Zreče ? Venue is Rogla. This is similar to biathlon and Pokljuka, where Bled would host event, if we put it like this.
  2. Wow, amazing, just took time to watch competition. Great job Anže, well deserved medal. He comes from Mengeš, that is where Rok Benkovič also lives. (World champion on normal hill in Oberstdorf 2005.)
  3. Well done, Tadej, looks like it is going to be another great season for Slovenian cycling. ?
  4. Wow, Pinturault, amazing Zubčić, great job by Hadalin with bib 47, tomorrow he will start in top 30. Kranjec is hoping to improve till Kranjska Gora.
  5. Happy for the girls finally giving a chance, sadly they only got one World Cup this season.
  6. @OlympicsFan if you read carefully, I wasn't compared our teams, after all our nation is much smaller and budget much lower, that is why pleasure is much nicer during this WCH. But since you poked me, don't be surprised, if at the end hosting land of next WCH will finish on medal standings in front of this years host, like it or not. ?
  7. Sorry if things are not looking so good for your team last years as it was before, in times when Frenzel and Rydzek were at their best. In our small team there is even less to be happy about, Vid Vrhovnik, who was Junior World champion, had a lot of problems with health and other, meanwhile youngsters don't improve fast enough, it is going to be tough to complete team for Planica 2023.
  8. No Slovenians on start today, smart move, Lampič and Urevc will be among medal contenders tomorrow in Team Sprint.
  9. I would totally agree with @hckošice, no surprise there, perhaps I was at least expecting Geiger would also close to main group, other than that it is going to be awful Worlds for hosts, knowing their ever lasting high expectations.
  10. Nice performance of Lanišek in qualifications. Granerud will win this with ease, as for other two medals anything is possible.
  11. Even Urša outclassed herself, come on Ema, bring this home.
  12. Well done Nika, well done Špela ?
  13. Uff, Ema, this is going to be a nail bighter.
  14. I hope today Kramer will be marked fairly, not like yesterday.
  15. Latest info, head coach Zupančič is positive on Covid - 19, so he will not be on site.
  16. According to Trial Round, Austria will be main rival, they were 3 meters better. Rogelj did quite well, Križnar and Klinec as expected, Bogataj will have to add missing meters. Let's go for GOLD !
  17. Team Slovenia 17 athletes (8 men, 9 women) Men Tilen Ovniček (60m) Luka Janežič (400 m) Lovro Mesec Košir (400 m) Jure Grkman (400 m) Gregor Grahovac (400 m) Žan Rudolf (800 m) Filip Jakob Demšar (60 m Hurdles) Jan Luxa (Triple Jump) Women Maja Mihalinec Zidar (60 m) Agata Zupin (400 m) Anita Horvat (400 m / 800 m) Jerneja Smonkar (800 m) Maruša Mišmaš Zrimšek (800 m / 1500 m / 3000 m) Klara Lukan (1500 m / 3000 m) Lia Apostolovski (High Jump) Tina Šutej (Pole Vault) Neja Filipič (Triple Jump) There is no doubt our highest hopes are Šutej, Mihalinec Zidar, Mišmaš Zrimšek, then Janežič and Horvat. At least one medal is very realistic goal. Too bad EAA has such Relay criteria, otherwise we would definitely send Men's, maybe even Women's relay to the start. BTW, this is second biggest delegation, most athletes took part in Vienna 2002, with 20 athletes, that was the year Jolanda Čeplak broke still valid WR on 800 m.
  18. Our coach Zoran Zupančič put Špela Rogelj instead of Brecl, who is in better shape. This is because with Rogelj team won competition in Ljubno. All good, but if there won't be gold today or at least a medal, things are not looking good for him.
  19. Finally well deserved medal for Slovenia in women ski jumping. Germans still don't know, how our flag look like, this is not first time. These Worlds could really end now. ??
  20. Poor Lebanese, broke his pole and ended on finish straight.
