Anyone an idea what kind of event this was: The Virtus Oceania Asia Games 2022 (OA Games 2022)

Must be incomplete, since no athletes from the home country are mentioned.....

I am still looking for results of the SEAG 2023. The website is still active, but only for the para-event. Anyone some advice?

What was the reason of the re-schedule? Venues not finished? Or due to Covid-postponements of other events re-scheduled?

Anyone knows what the restrictions are to participate as an island. Gozo is participating for the time and Rhodes did not since several editions? For example: why Menorca and not Mallorca and/or Ibiza? Any island welcome? Seems not, because the number of islands participating has been steady since years.

Why isn’t Afghanistan competing anymore?

Vovinam.....? Arnis....? kurash....? Obstacle racing....? So many martial arts sports will be contested: I think they will run out of white uniforms....

Seems to me you are quite negative in your opinions about these Games. I hope that Oran 2021 will be better. Besides this: I think Algeria performs up to standard....some suprises and some dissapointments.

Still: Morocco stepped in as an alternative for several other countries. Even after Morocco did not participate in recent African Games. Better something than nothing? Many other multi sport events haven't been held in recent years: West Asian Games, Arab Games, East Asian Games etc. What African countries could stage these Games in the near future? South Africa (they sent a relative small group of athletes because of financial issues) Algeria (facilities are being built for the MedGames in Oran) Nigeria Ghana (really?) Egypt Tunesia Senegal (build a huge basketball arena) & Mali (are you serious?) Equatorial Guinea (former selected host, but no history in sports), must have been a joke.... Congo (to soon again) Kenya Some possibilities, but I think these Games are in serious doubt....like European Games, Universiad and (too) many other Games.

At least judo started and is finished....all the other sports seems to have postponements or re-scheduling. No information about participants from sports still to begin.....getting worrying
