    Oh yeah, they are broadcasting equestrian. But I'm surprised it's not indoor. Saudis dominated the first round. Qatar 2nd, Syria and Kyrgyzstan tied for 3rd. Cool result for KGZ, but not entirely unexpected as they appear once in a while in European competitions (unlike IRI, UZB, TKM, KAZ).

    Uninspired medals? Only fitting for the Olympics for which no Korean would care about (at least outside of short track arena).

    Composite teams are mentioned, not mixed-NOC teams. Definition of composite team is given on the appendix at the last page. Basically a team created because enough individuals from a certain nation have qualified to form a team, we had those in Rio too (now it's slightly different process because nations can qualify only one individual so composite teams are exceptional circumstance).

    Yeah, probably not, but there could be some decent teams nevertheless. In any case, FEI already significally increased number of team quotas by reducing size of the teams from 4 to 3, so with that in mind mixed-NOC teams would be even weirder.

    Calm down people, I doubt there's much truth to that. I didn't read about it anywhere, and I read all sorts of sites almost daily (FEI, Eventing Nation, Eurodressage, Dressage-News, World-of-Show-Jumping). And, most importantly, it's not mentioned in any of the qualification systems or in Memo.

    Well, that's in contradiction with the proposed qualification systems. Systems for all 3 disciplines say that maximum number of teams (NOCs) is the total number of quota places on offer on various qualification events. Maybe that was just a proposal from one or two federation? I know that NFs had opportunity to revert on FEI proposals (deadline was couple of days ago).

    Well, with facilities like this they'll just need few good coaches and the results will come. At least they are not the athlete shopers like a lot of oil nations.

    Out of 18 Tajikistan's medals, 17 are bronze.
