  1. 2 more groups to go, and it looks as if Galusyan is the only one that posted a challenging score thus far. Hope she makes it.
  2. And now onto women's singles, which should be by far the least predictable. Btw, this is the last chance for Swiss figure skaters to avoid missing two Winter Olympics in a row... For the first time ever.
  3. This may look incredibly easy at first, but these are required TES scores in fact (so total segment score minus presentation score). I initially expected that requirements will be the same as here, but now I'm surprised that Olympics apparently have considerably easier TES requirements than the Worlds. Therefore Australian ice dance couple already achieved it here, despite scoring less than 100 pts overall...
  4. Or even Hanzlickova. However, looking at the team rankings here, looks like Czechs will have to wait and see what happens with Israel/Australia (they'll need to reach minimum requirements in women's singles and ice dance, respectively). Only 10 teams could participate.
  5. finishes behind the qualification zone, so there is no doubt anymore.
  6. That's odd. Apparently Majorov said himself in an interview that he needs 260 points, maybe a lack of communication between them. http://www.absoluteskating.com/index.php?cat=interviews&id=2017majorov
  7. Looks like Finland may fail to qualify in figure skating... Again. should be safe, assuming that Reed is not getting the permission...
  8. First Winter Olympian for (yes I'm not counting that Jeffrey Webb fellow, doesn't sound Malaysian at all..)
  9. I don't know, I guess we'll have to wait for the confirmation by Swedish NOC.
  10. Apparently Swedish NOC has rough standards (he needs to break 260 points in total).
  11. I forgot about Majorov, so I guess Martinez still has a good chance to go.
  12. Not a surprise, Martinez qualified for Sochi, Walker didn't.
  13. Dutch have internal standards, usually it's something like top-8 at Europeans or top-12 at Worlds.
  14. Apart from Kennes (who won't get selected by Dutch NOC even if he qualifies), everyone left to skate will fight for the quotas as none of the previous skaters has put up a particulary high score.
  15. That was in 80s when everybody was allowed to compete basically. There should be wild cards today, for certain athletes from smaller nations with decent abilities (for example Kyrgyz snowboard cross races that competed at the highest level...).
  16. I don't know what exactly the required standard is, but imagine there should be one since men have it.
  17. Sinkovićs into the final with the fastest time. I'm not quite expecting gold, they have been in this boat less than a year, but a medal would be nice.
  18. Yeah, and Tobias at least skated for Lithuania for a couple of years. Reed only came this season and she has a "history" (competed for Georgia and Israel before... ).
  19. Majorov wasn't bad, but no way he's getting over 260 by the end of the free skate. Swedish NOC is just mean. Literally criteria for him is to beat top 20 all-time score in men's singles skating.
  20. I imagine it should be. I don't know the details though, I've just read from an Australian user on GoldenSkate that all the pieces are in place (usually a good place to check things like this).
  21. http://www.isuresults.com/results/season1718/csger2017/SEG001.HTM
  22. I see. Still, it's even more unfortunate that Denmark doesn't seem to have any other ice dance couple. They still could have used that quota place.
  23. Not yet, but she will get it soon apparently.
