Just by watching this time trial I can pretty much assume how expensive Bergen must be.

But it's incredibly unprofessional when hosts can change a rule of the governing body for one event at the World championships.

There is no new rule, they just ignored it. Made an "exception", because hosts apparently can decide to do that..

The fact that UCI is going against their own rules concerning the bike change. Bikes can only come of the following car after it stopped, while here they have bikes waiting at the red carpet.

Oh well, in almost all sports YOG is pretty meaningless when it comes to the reference for the future. You might as well win the gold knowing yourself that there are number of others in your age category better than you (but they didn't get to compete thanks to weird qualification system and whatnot...).

Jumabayeva lifted 189kg in women's -48kg. That would have given her a medal in Rio! But this is weightlifting, so you never know...
